About Everest Forms - Hubspot
The lead that goes cold in the inbox
A form that only sends a notification email leaves the job half done: someone has to copy that data into the CRM, and they will do it when they can. In the meantime, the contact is on no list, nobody can follow up, and transcription errors (a misspelled email, a cut-off name) end up in your database. This addon connects Everest Forms with HubSpot so every submission reaches the CRM on its own.
If you capture contacts with forms, it matters not only how many come in but how they come in. A database with duplicates and half-filled records makes the sales team stop trusting it and go back to their spreadsheet.
Everest Forms - Hubspot: accounts, lists and fields
The addon syncs what is submitted in a form with your HubSpot CRM so you can manage and list your contacts there. It does so with these pieces:
- Several HubSpot accounts: you can connect more than one account to Everest Forms and send the data to the dashboard of the account you want.
- List selection: you choose the HubSpot list each contact goes to after submission, instead of dumping everything in one common drawer.
- Field mapping: you pair the fields of the HubSpot list with those of the form, so the email goes to its field and the name to its own, with no transfer errors.
- Conditional logic: you send data to HubSpot only if conditions you define are met, such as the name, email, subject or message.
What you should be clear about: it is an addon and does not work on its own. It needs Everest Forms installed and is an extension of that plugin's premium plan. It does not create or design forms either: you build them in Everest Forms and this adds the bridge to HubSpot. Its job is to send submissions to the CRM, so do not expect it to replace the marketing automation you set up inside HubSpot.
Common questions before connecting Everest Forms to HubSpot
Does it work without the Everest Forms plugin?
No. It is an Everest Forms addon and depends on it to work.
Can I use more than one HubSpot account?
Yes. You can link several accounts and send the form data to the dashboard of the right one.
Does every submission end up in HubSpot?
Only if you want it to. With conditional rules, a submission travels to the CRM only when it matches what you have defined.
Can I choose which list each contact lands in?
Yes, you select the destination HubSpot list and pair its fields with those of the form.
Filtering before sending keeps your list clean
A contact form receives all sorts of things: potential customers, suppliers offering their services, test messages. If everything goes into the same list, your team wastes time separating what is useful. Conditions let you decide what gets synced, for example based on the chosen subject or what the message contains. Think first about which kind of submission deserves to be a contact in HubSpot and which is just an inquiry answered by email.
Field mapping is checked with a test submission
Before publishing the form, submit one yourself with recognizable data and check in HubSpot whether each value landed in its field and in the right list. If you plan to ask for fields that have no equivalent in HubSpot, create them there first so you can pair them. Also test the conditions with one case that should go through and one that should not, to be sure the filter does what you expect.
