About Everest Forms – PDF Form Submission
When the form's answer stays locked in a panel nobody opens
Someone fills in a request, you see it in the WordPress entries list, and there it stays. The client keeps no copy, and if they need to print it, file it or attach it to some paperwork, they ask you for it by email. Anyone who receives requests, registrations or orders knows that what circulates between businesses and clients is a document, not a row in an admin table.
Everest Forms – PDF Form Submission is an add-on for Everest Forms (the base plugin must be installed) that turns every submission into a PDF and sends it to the user.
A workshop registration, from form to PDF
Imagine a registration form. This is how the work goes with the add-on:
1. Decide which fields go in
You choose which fields appear in the PDF and can exclude abandoned ones, so the document doesn't come out with empty gaps. You can also insert each field's description inside the PDF, useful when that description explains what was being asked.
2. Pick a template and a header
You can choose from several templates and the PDF is generated with the look of the one you pick. In the header you upload your logo and add a title and a description, so the document carries your site's identity.
3. Set paper, columns and style
You define the default paper size and the orientation (portrait or landscape). With multiple columns, details are shown side by side, so a long form doesn't stretch over many pages. Typography (family and size) and background (color or image) are also configurable. A busy background image can get in the way if the user prints the PDF, so test it by printing before you publish.
4. The user receives and downloads their copy
Each submission is converted to PDF and sent to the user, who can also download their own copy. The PDF reflects what was submitted, with the header, typography, background and column options you have seen: it is a record of the submission, not a document generator with its own logic.

Languages written from right to left
If your site publishes in a language written from right to left, the add-on supports that writing direction in the PDF.
