About FameThemes OnePress WordPress Theme

One URL to present the whole business

When a small business, a freelancer or an agency needs a website, they often end up with a menu of seven half-empty pages: a "Services" page with three lines, an "About us" nobody reads. OnePress proposes the opposite: one long front page, organized in blocks, that you explore by scrolling.

If you offer five services and they all live on a single URL, that one page competes alone for five different searches. That is why OnePress works better when your message is one clear thing (a studio, a portfolio, a product) than when you sell very different lines of work.

The OnePress blocks that make up the front page

The front page is built from sections that you order and fill in from the Customizer. Each one answers a question the visitor has on arrival:

  • Company info and services: who you are and what you do, without forcing anyone to navigate.
  • Clients: who you have worked with, visible at first glance.
  • Videos and gallery: to show work, products or the team.
  • Latest blog posts: the front page shows that the site is alive.
  • Contact form: the natural end of the journey.

All of these blocks are translation ready, which is useful if you serve clients in more than one language.

A long front page does not replace a multi-page site

It helps to separate what the theme gives you ready-made from what you will have to solve yourself, with another plugin, by hand or with a professional:

  • Already solved: a front page structure in blocks, the parallax effect, color and layout adjustments from the Customizer, pre-made page templates and custom widgets.
  • Already solved: a design that adapts to desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile.
  • On your own: writing the texts and preparing the photos for each block; an empty block or one with placeholder text looks worse than not having it.
  • On your own: a dedicated page for each service, if you want to rank them separately.
  • On your own: any feature that goes beyond presenting the business (shop, bookings, private areas) requires a specific plugin, and you will need to check in the demo how it fits the design.

Parallax and customization without touching code

Use it with judgment: with many blocks in a row and heavy photos, the page can feel overloaded.

The front page, layout and color options are in the Customizer, so you see the result as you make changes. For people who do not code, that avoids depending on a developer for every tweak. The theme relies on HTML5 and CSS3 and includes one-click demo content import, a good starting point to understand how each block is filled in.

Frequently asked questions about OnePress

Can I have a blog?

Yes, the front page can show the latest posts from your blog. That said, the star of the theme is the front page, not long-form reading.

Does it work for a business with many services?

It can, if you present them as blocks on the same front page. If each service needs its own page and its own ranking, a multi-page theme will give you more room.

Does it look good on mobile?

It is a responsive design that adjusts to desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile. Still, check your own images and texts on mobile, because heavy content affects the experience.

Can I use it in my language?

Yes, it is ready to be translated into the language of your choice, including the front page blocks.
