What it does exactly
It is an add-on for MangaBooth themes that imports manga from Fanfox.net, formerly known as Mangafox. It runs in automatic mode, crawling the whole catalogue, or manual mode, specifying a single title. It brings proxy settings and cron scheduling, and can upload chapter images to an external storage service.

Where that manga comes from
Fanfox is an aggregator publishing works whose rights belong to Japanese publishers and their licensees in each country. Importing from there to your site means republishing protected material without authorisation from whoever made it or whoever publishes it.
The consequences are concrete and fairly common in this sector: takedown notices to the host, which usually end in account suspension; the domain being deindexed; payment gateways and advertising platforms blocking you, as they review sites of this type; and direct claims from the licensees, who in manga are active.
And there is a consideration that is not legal: the money a site like that generates comes out of the pocket of whoever draws. The manga industry pays its authors on what sells.
