A basket shop and an aisle shop are not walked the same way

A few vegetable boxes and a whole pantry do not call for the same shop page. The first is held back by a filter panel taking up half the screen; the second, without filters, loses the shopper across pages. That is why this decision can get made without thinking: you import the home page you like and the shop page stays as it came.

Freshio leaves that decision open. The size of your catalog should choose how products are filtered and loaded, more than how the demo looks. Its shop options include four filter presentations and two ways of loading more. See how each behaves with your real products, on mobile, before settling on the design.

Four filters and two ways to load products

The shop page offers these options:

• Filter presentation: Menu Filter, Offcanvas, Dropdown and Drawing Filter.
• Product loading: infinite scroll or a Load More button.
• Filter criteria: minimum and maximum price, categories with their counts and product tags.
• Listing order: popularity, rating, latest and price in both directions.
• View: grid or list, with full-width and sidebar versions.

The product card and the rest of the shop

Each product shows shortcuts to the wishlist, quick view and compare. The comparison lets you choose fields such as image, SKU, price and availability, hide what matches and highlight differences, which is useful if you sell the same product in several formats. The wishlist counter sits in the header.

Around the shop you will find:

• At least eight home pages to import with one click.
• A header and footer builder, with several styles.
• Megamenu and a bottom bar for mobile.
• Ready-made pages: 404, FAQ, cart, checkout and My Account.
• Blog with several templates.
• Customizer settings: full-width or boxed, main and secondary colors, and unlimited sidebars.

Food logistics are on you

Freshio takes care of the shop window. Delivery slots, selling by weight and expiry management are not among its features, and those pieces are added with plugins or organized outside the shop. It does not take payments on its own either: products, cart and payments go through WooCommerce.

Its pages are edited with Elementor, so changing builders means rebuilding them. And check the design with your own photos before signing it off.

Elementor, WooCommerce and the setup wizard

The package relies on Elementor and WooCommerce, and includes Contact Form 7, MailChimp, Slider Revolution and the quick view, wishlist and compare modules. The recommended PHP limits are 512 MB of memory, 600 seconds of execution and 40 MB uploads.

1. Install and activate the theme.
2. Install the plugins it proposes, including Elementor and WooCommerce.
3. Go to Appearance, Theme Setup, and follow the wizard to import a home page.
4. Load a sample of your products with real categories and tags.
5. Try each filter presentation on mobile and keep the one that works best.

A large supermarket or several sellers

They are shop presentation settings. Make the change on a test copy first.

It depends on your catalog and how your customers use it. Try both with your products on mobile.

Can I edit the home page without coding?
