About Gravity Forms Quiz
An exam that scores everything the same measures nothing
Building a knowledge test in WordPress often ends up as an ordinary form graded by hand, spreadsheet included, or as a result nobody knows how to interpret. In courses, internal training or hiring, the problem is not asking questions, but deciding which answer weighs more.
Gravity Forms Quiz is a Gravity Forms add-on that grades the form as soon as it is submitted. That is why it lets you give each answer its own score.
Automatic grading, pass/fail or letter grades, and results in your dashboard
When the test is submitted, the plugin grades it on its own. You can choose pass or fail with the percentages you define, or letter grades to assess each person's overall performance.
- Weighted scoring: you assign the points for each answer and control how it affects the final result.
- Results: you see the average score, how often each grade occurs and the performance of each participant.
- All in WordPress: the data is reviewed from your own dashboard.
Where Gravity Forms Quiz fits: courses, training and hiring
The clearest use is assessment. In online courses it checks students' knowledge and shows who meets the required minimum. In employee training and onboarding, it confirms they have understood the material before moving on. In hiring, it evaluates the technical knowledge of candidates or outside contractors.
It can also qualify leads or segment an audience. What to do with each group is something you design yourself.
Before choosing Gravity Forms Quiz: do you need to assess or just collect answers?
If you only want to collect data, an ordinary form is enough. Here are the usual questions:
Does it work on its own?
No. It is a Gravity Forms add-on and needs Gravity Forms installed.
Does it issue certificates or diplomas?
If you need a certificate on passing, check in the demo whether it covers that before promising it to your students.
Does it replace a course platform?
No. It is an assessment tool, not a system with lessons and full student tracking beyond the results of each test.
Can I see how each person did?
Yes. Besides the average and how often each grade occurs, you can review each participant's individual performance.
