About GravityCalendar
Bookings and appointments nobody sees in a calendar
If you collect bookings, classes or events with Gravity Forms, you often end up with a list of entries in the dashboard that only the administrator understands. The rest of the team asks over WhatsApp what is on Thursday, and users see nothing. GravityCalendar turns those entries into a calendar you can publish on any page.
The underlying idea: in a business run on schedules, the most valuable piece of data is which day is free or taken, and a form stores each date as a loose record with no overview. A calendar puts it in front of everyone.
What GravityCalendar does with your entries
- Navigation to switch views and jump to a date.
- Drag and drop on the calendar itself to change dates and times, without opening the WordPress dashboard.
- Live preview while configuring, with settings for layout, colors and event details.
- Subscribable feeds for Google or Apple Calendar and event export as ICS files.
- AJAX loading: only visible events are loaded, useful if you have hundreds or thousands.
- Embedding through a shortcode, Gutenberg block or widget.
- Hooks and filters for developers who want to modify the output.
What it needs and what it is not
It is an add-on for Gravity Forms: without that plugin and a form that collects dates, there is nothing to display. Nor is it a full booking system: it shows entries in a calendar, but it is not an availability engine, a payment tool or a reminder system. If you need to block occupied slots automatically, check it in the demo before deciding.
Common questions before installing it
Can the public submit events?
Yes: you can collect events with a public form and have them appear on the calendar.
Does it sync with my personal calendar?
Through subscribable feeds for Google or Apple Calendar, and you can export to ICS.
Can it handle many events?
It is designed for that: with AJAX it only loads what is visible on screen.
Can I edit dates without opening the admin area?
Yes, by dragging the event on the calendar.
A calendar built for teams and organizations
A verified user says she used it to give her organization's board of directors visibility of events and action items. It is built on FullCalendar, a widely used script, so the interface feels familiar.
The calendar is fed by the date fields in your form
Before building anything, check that your form has date fields and, if you want times, time fields too. Then create the calendar, adjust the live preview and place it on a page with the block or the shortcode. Test drag and drop with a real entry before opening it to other users.
