And a reader who has already read you is almost the only one who will buy your next book. Jack Baker is designed for that: introducing you, organising your work and keeping the contact details of whoever arrives.
The demo is an author's website with a contact header and social networks (Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest), a menu split into sections and a homepage that opens with the new book and a buy button.

If you have just published a novel
The homepage opens with the new book and the buy button. Below, a block offers the first pages for free in exchange for an email address. It is the most useful piece for an author: it turns a curious visitor into a contact you can notify about your next title.
If your work crosses several genres
The menu separates Book, Belles-lettres, Magazines, Poems and Textbook. Someone looking for your poems does not have to go through your study texts, and vice versa. If you publish in a single genre, you will probably have sections to spare, and it is worth removing them.
If you have a press presence
There are dedicated sections for Press and News, plus a block of latest posts. They let you show interviews, reviews and news, and keep the site from looking abandoned between one book and the next.
