About JetEngine for Elementor

If your site is a directory, a catalog or a portal with users, this is for you

A real estate, car or booking website is not built from loose pages: it is built from records that share a structure and that you have to list, filter and relate to each other. Doing that by hand, page by page, is what makes a directory unmaintainable once it reaches a hundred entries. JetEngine for Elementor serves whoever builds that kind of project and wants Elementor to draw the design while the data lives in an organized structure.

It is not for someone who just wants a five-page corporate site: there is a lot to configure and it adds nothing if you have no repetitive content. Nor is it a booking system by itself: the hotel, rental or medical appointment demos use booking features and multi-step forms, and for the booking calendar it is combined with JetBooking, another plugin from the same family. The WooCommerce integrations in those demos do not come out of nowhere either: you need to have WooCommerce.

Data structure: content types, fields and taxonomies

The base is Custom Post Types, taxonomies, custom fields, meta boxes and options pages. There is also the Custom Content Type, which stores metadata in its own table instead of the general WordPress table.

With the Glossary you define a set of data once and reuse it as options in a content type, a form or a filter. That way the list of cities or brands is not written in three different places.

Listings, relations and queries: what turns data into pages

  • Listing Grid, with grid, slider, carousel, map and calendar variants.
  • Relations between posts, taxonomies and users: one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many. For example, an agent with their properties.
  • Query Builder: a single interface to query posts, SQL tables, WooCommerce products, terms, users, comments or a REST API.
  • Dynamic Function, tags and macros: they calculate totals, averages or minimums and maximums, and show them on the page.

With conditional logic you can hide fields based on their value, and with dynamic visibility show elements according to the user role or other rules.

Tables, charts and user profiles

The Tables Builder publishes data as tables (member directories, book archives, housing databases), with horizontal scroll for large tables and smart filters. Charts offer 12 types and support others through JSON code.

The Profile Builder creates user accounts with several pages, privacy settings and a profile menu widget. With frontend post submission, registered users can publish through simple forms. The Data Store keeps per-user lists such as favorites, likes or wishlists.

AI features and REST API

There is a structure generator that, from a description, proposes the data model for you to review and edit, and an SQL query generator that uses the OpenAI API. You should review the result before using it. You can also register REST endpoints to read, create or delete CCT items from outside, display data from an external API as a listing and send forms to a URL.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work only with Elementor?

No: it also works with Gutenberg and Bricks. This listing focuses on Elementor, and some widget features vary depending on the editor.

Is it compatible with ACF or WooCommerce?

Yes, it is compatible with ACF, WooCommerce, Pods, CPT UI, RankMath and Yoast, as well as Elementor Pro.

Does it include advanced filters?

The filters in the demos are built with JetSmartFilters, another plugin from the Jet family. JetEngine listings and tables support them, but that piece is separate.

Can I build a vehicle or property search without coding?

Yes: the real estate and car dealer demos start from this logic of content types, listings and filters. That said, there is a learning curve before you master relations and queries.
