About JetReviews Reviews Widget for Elementor
A product page with a handful of bare stars convinces nobody who has ever shopped online: visitors want to know who is talking, whether they actually bought, and whether anyone disagrees. Adding reviews to an Elementor site usually ends up as a generic comments plugin that clashes with your design, or as hand-written testimonials nobody believes.
Reviews that look like what you sell, not like what the theme ships
JetReviews Reviews Widget for Elementor lets you create your own review types and assign them to posts, pages, products, events, orders or any custom content type. The idea behind it: a review of a lodging isn't scored with the same criteria as a book or a service. Here you define the fields, combine different field types and decide how the score is calculated and shown: stars, percentage or points.
What to do depending on your type of project
If you run a WooCommerce store
You can place the star rating on the product page, show the latest ratings, import the reviews you already have in WooCommerce and, with JetSmartFilters, filter or sort products by rating. That filtering is not included: it's another Crocoblock plugin.
If you offer services or rentals
It works for rating a property, a host or a specific service with your own criteria. In Crocoblock's demos it appears as dynamic reviews of lodgings and hosts, with comments, a likes counter and an automatic average.
If you need customer testimonials
You can publish opinions with name, photo and date, and display them anywhere on the site using JetEngine. They are useful as social proof on sales pages.
Comments, replies and votes: the debate sells too
- Comments and replies: visitors can respond to other opinions.
- Likes and dislikes: users can change their vote afterwards.
- Guests: you can open or restrict access to comments.
- Photos: image uploads are allowed when leaving a review.
You can assign roles to registered users (guest, client, manager).
Control over who speaks and what gets published
You can add required fields and reCAPTCHA for security. From the WordPress dashboard you moderate everything in one place: edit or delete entries, check stats, receive notifications, sort by parameters and enable a prohibited words check.
A practical warning: if you publish reviews, don't write them yourself or filter them to show only the good ones. It is a deceptive practice and can cause you problems.
It works with Elementor, but the review listing needs other plugins
The widget requires Elementor. If you want a review listing with your own design, you need JetEngine; to include the section in a page template, JetThemeCore. Without them you get the widget and the management, not those extras. Nor is it a system for importing reviews from Google or other platforms: it collects opinions written on your own site.
