When you manage several client sites, checking their stats means logging into one account after another, switching properties and copying figures by hand for the monthly report. It is repetitive work that gets done late and half-done. MainWP Google Analytics Extension brings that data into the MainWP Dashboard you already use to manage everything else.
What you see in the Dashboard with MainWP Google Analytics Extension
The extension shows key metrics such as page views, engagement time, user demographics and device statistics, with graphs and customizable widgets to help you spot trends.
- Widget on the Overview page: summarizes the main metrics of each child site, so you can notice at a glance if something has moved.
- Visitors data section: lets you switch from one site to another and check more detailed statistics about user behavior.
- Per-site view: each child site shows its own analytics on its individual overview page.
Connecting accounts and taking the data into client reports
There are two ways to link your Google Analytics accounts: through the Google API Console or by uploading a JSON file. You can connect several accounts, with one JSON for each, which is useful if every client has their own.
The extension also provides tokens to include analytics data in client reports and emails. It supports Google Analytics 4.
Deciding if it fits: requirements and frequently asked questions
It is not a plugin that works on its own. It needs the MainWP Dashboard, the Child plugin on each site, a MainWP Pro account, a Google Analytics account and an API key. If you work with another site manager, it does not fit. Nor does it replace Analytics: what you do is view its data from another place, not measure on your own.
Can I connect several Google Analytics accounts?

Does it work with GA4?
Yes, it supports Google Analytics 4.
Can I put the data into client reports?
