About MemberPress PDF Invoice
When a member asks for an invoice and all you have is the email receipt
In a membership the charge repeats every month or every year, and so do the invoice requests. If you handle it by hand, the workload grows with renewals, not with new sign-ups. MemberPress PDF Invoice is a MemberPress add-on that lets each customer download the PDF invoice for every transaction on their own.
The invoice carries your branding. You can choose between two designs and set it up from a simple dashboard.

If you sell subscriptions with manual payment
For subscriptions charged through the offline gateway, the add-on automatically generates proforma invoices at each renewal. The customer does not have to ask you for anything every time a payment is due.
If you sell orders with several products
Cart order invoices are itemized line by line, with shipping costs and each coupon discount on its own line. Order bumps also appear, even when the main product is free.
If you have customers in Europe
Invoices can include ZUGFeRD / Factur-X data for e-invoicing under the EN 16931 standard. It is a technical aid, not a guarantee that you meet your tax obligations: that depends on your case and is worth confirming with your advisor.
Amounts that do not change even if you edit the product later
The invoice uses the amount actually charged, so if you later modify a product or a coupon, invoices already issued stay correct. With free trials and prorations it shows the first-period amount, not the renewal terms.

The customer downloads it, for each transaction. You do not have to generate each document.
Does it work for renewals paid outside the website?
Yes, for offline gateway subscriptions proforma invoices are created at each renewal.
Do they reflect discounts?
On cart orders, yes: shipping and each coupon's discount appear per line.
How many designs are there?
Two. If you need a very different layout, check it in the demo before deciding.

It is not a standalone invoicing plugin: it is a MemberPress add-on. It does not calculate taxes or replace accounting advice.
