About Midi – Sound & Music WordPress Theme
A music website usually fails in the same ways: it looks dull next to what people actually hear, concert dates get buried in a blog post, and the merchandise shop feels bolted on from another site. Midi is designed so that the color and energy of what you do come across right from the homepage.
Midi for those who need to be seen before they are heard
Someone visiting the website of a DJ, a music school or a club decides within moments whether they care about what happens there, because the sound can't be tried until they reach the event or the class. That's why Midi has a colorful, festive design geared toward music and sound production, contemporary music schools, online radios, bands, DJs, singers, artist agencies, cultural events and concert venues or night clubs. The image does the job that audio can't do on a first visit.
Elementor for layouts and a WooCommerce-based store
The theme is edited with Elementor: you can modify the content of any page and also design the header and footer from the builder itself. It includes its own shortcodes and widgets, and a one-click demo installation so you don't start from scratch.
It is built on WooCommerce, so the cart, shipping, search bar and user login are part of its structure. That suits anyone who wants to sell physical tickets, records, T-shirts or materials for students alongside the rest of the site.
Blog, sliders and customization without touching code
- Blog: several listing styles, layout options, more than 20 post animations, a feed configurable by content type or category, view counter, like and share buttons, and a related posts block.
- Sliders: Slider Revolution and Swiper are included.
- Design: mobile-friendly layout, boxed or fullwidth formats, retina image support, adjustable colors and typography, and interactive Ajax search.
- Customization: more than 750 Customizer options, a settings inheritance system, and its own content types and options panels.
The concert calendar and bookings need separate plugins
Midi gives you the look and the structure, but it doesn't solve everything on its own. This is the real split:
- What the theme provides: the design, Elementor layouts, a WooCommerce store base, the included sliders and the blog options.
- With a separate plugin: the events calendar (compatible with The Events Calendar), booked appointments or classes (compatible with Booked Appointments), forms (Contact Form 7), the newsletter (MC4WP for Mailchimp), the Instagram feed (Smash Balloon), the cookie notice and consent, and translation into several languages (WPML).
- Up to you: all your own content. The demo images are not included, so you will have to add your own photos, videos and audio.
Check in the demo how your type of content is displayed, for example if you need a music player, because what you see in the preview doesn't mean it comes built into the theme.
