Surveys nobody answers and data nobody uses
Putting a survey on your site usually ends the same way: a dull form at the bottom of the page that only the very happy or the very angry fill in, and answers nobody knows how to present. Modal Survey tackles both problems: when and how the question appears, and what the visitor sees after answering.
The Visual Builder in the admin panel lets you create surveys, polls and quizzes without touching code. It includes a live preview, start and expiry dates, a color picker, width and position sliders and more than 650 Google fonts. It helps the survey match your design instead of looking like a foreign body.
Modal Survey as a popup or embedded: you decide when it gets in the way
It can be shown as a popup or embedded, full width or in a smaller box (for example, taking up 40% of the width, at the top, middle or bottom of the screen). It is triggered by a click on a link or when the visitor scrolls and almost reaches the end of the page. You also choose whether it appears only once, once more for people who already answered it, or every time.
- Lock screen combined with the close option: without closing, you force people to answer; with closing, you just highlight the survey. Forcing tends to produce careless answers, so use it with care.
- Final message that is customizable, with a link, and the option to offer downloadable content in exchange for the answers.
- Animations for entering and leaving with jQuery easing effects and adjustable speed.
Quizzes with scoring, categories and charts people want to share
Results can be shown as progress bars, animated pie and bar charts, a radar chart or plain text (there are 6 chart types). Questions and answers are grouped into categories, so it works for personality tests or business evaluation tests, and all the questions can be shown in a single chart with the aggregated results.
With score-based conditions, depending on the result you show a message or redirect to another page: the basis of a product recommendation survey. In trivia-style quizzes there is a button to share the individual result on Facebook with an image based on the answers, and the timer can be general or per question.
Is Modal Survey for winning customers or just for collecting opinions?
For winning customers, it works if you combine downloadable content, score-based redirects and the shareable quiz. For collecting opinions, the aggregated charts are enough. It is a survey plugin, not a CRM or a general form builder: if you need to send the answers to a specific email marketing tool, check in the demo whether that connection exists.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The builder is visual and has a live preview.
Can I schedule when it starts and ends?
Yes, with start and expiry dates from the admin panel.
Can I force people to answer?
Yes, with the lock screen without a close option. Think about whether you want that, because a forced answer is rarely a good answer.
Can it be translated?
It is translation-ready, so you can offer the questions in your audience's language.
