About PetMania Pet Shop and Care Theme
The bag of food has stock; the Saturday place has a date
In a pet shop with daycare, grooming or dog walking, inventories that do not behave alike live side by side. The bag of food sits in the storeroom: if ten are left, ten get sold. The Saturday daycare place only exists that Saturday, and if it is not taken, it cannot be kept for Monday.
A site can charge for both equally well and still not know how many dogs fit on Saturday. That question is worth asking before choosing the theme, because it decides how much work stays on the phone.
PetMania, from VamTam, brings both parts together on one site with WooCommerce and Elementor Pro. In its demo, each service is a product with options and a cart button, and there is also an appointment form. The shop is well covered; managing places is what you have to solve separately.
The demo shop, from the inside
- Menu by animal: dog, cat, small pets, fish, reptile and bird, with subcategories such as food, treats and accessories.
- Sidebar filters by price, category, brand, health consideration, flavor and high protein.
- Six sorting options, by popularity, rating, newness or price.
- Wishlist, Ajax search and gift cards as WooCommerce extensions.
Services, headers and pop-ups with Elementor Pro
- Six services in the demo: daycare, dog walking, grooming, boarding, training and veterinary care.
- Services as products: daycare, for example, offers half day or full day and an add to cart button.
- Supporting pages: story, tips, FAQ, contact and locations.
- Appointment form with pet, service, date, time, length, contact details and message.
- Header, footer, mega menus, forms and pop-ups created with Elementor Pro.
- Elementor Pro global styles as the theme panel, with no theme options panel of its own to learn.
- RTL support and WPML.
- Premium stock images from the demo included, and 23 video tutorials for beginners.
Charging for a place is not knowing it is free
There is no appointment calendar, availability per employee or daily slots among its features. The demo form collects a date and time without showing free openings, and it carries no payment. Someone has to check the schedule and confirm. For a small business that may be enough, as long as it replies quickly. If you run several groomers or limited daycare places, you need a booking plugin.
Nor are patient history or pet records among its features, even though the demo includes veterinary care. Those are service pages, not clinic management software.
The filters by health, flavor or protein draw on your product data, so that work has to be planned when loading the catalog.
Elementor Pro first, your catalog after
PetMania needs WordPress, Elementor, Elementor Pro and WooCommerce. Elementor Pro does not come inside the theme, and it is required for the demo importer and for setting it up. These steps get the site running:
- Install WordPress, Elementor, Elementor Pro and WooCommerce before importing anything.
- Import the demo with the theme's importer.
- Replace the sample services, locations and testimonials with your own.
- Create the categories and filter attributes before loading products.
- Send a test appointment through the form, buy a service in the cart and check who receives each notice.
Bookly and other routes for a pet business
To add real appointments, Bookly Pro works with staff availability, a service catalog, a calendar and reminders, and MotoPress Appointment Booking manages the schedule with staff hours and a margin between appointments.
If your project rests on adoption, community or shows, Pets Club allows for those sections with animal listings, members and forums. And if the weight is on a shop with grooming and care, Ricky brings those two parts together.
Booking, paying or just requesting a visit?
Can customers book and pay for a service online?
In the demo, the service is added to the cart like a product, and there is a separate appointment form. For customers to see free openings you need a booking plugin.
Does it work for just a grooming salon or a daycare?
That is one of its intended uses, along with clinics, boarding and pet food shops.
