Every bouncing visitor pollutes your retargeting audience
Running retargeting ads with the standard pixel usually ends the same way: the audience fills up with people who opened the page and left after two seconds, and you pay to reach them again. The more traffic you get, the more the audience you actually care about gets diluted.
Pixel Cat Elite Plugin starts from that idea: firing the pixel when the page loads is not enough. It fires events based on what the visitor does, such as time spent on the site or how far they scroll. That way you separate someone who glanced at the page from someone who really read it, and you send only the latter to Meta, Google Analytics 4, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok or Reddit.
Events, parameters and exclusions in Pixel Cat Elite
These are the pieces that matter most when building audiences:
- Time and scroll delay: the event is only sent once the visitor has spent a set amount of time on the page or scrolled a set percentage of it.
- Custom events built with its own builder, plus video events, to measure behavior on your site more accurately.
- Automatic parameters: HTTP referrer, post categories and tags, and Google Analytics UTM tags, useful for building custom audiences.
- Control over where it loads: you can exclude the pixel and your custom scripts from specific pages instead of loading them site-wide. It also includes Google AMP integration and Facebook Advanced Matching.
In a store, catalog and purchases without manual work
If you sell with WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads, the integration turns on eCommerce event tracking with one click and generates a product feed to import your catalog into Facebook. That catalog stays up to date when you add or edit products. It works for personalizing your ads and retargeting people who visited your store.
The delay applies here too: you can postpone the ViewContent event on product pages so you don't pay for bounces. You can also send extra data as parameters, such as customer lifetime value (LTV), the coupon used or shipping information, and prevent duplicate purchase events.
Choose Pixel Cat Elite only if you really do retargeting
It is a tool for measuring and segmenting, not for advertising. It doesn't create campaigns or ads, and it doesn't replace the Meta, Google or TikTok dashboards: audiences are built there, with the events this plugin sends. The store features need WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads, and you must already have your ad account and your pixel created. If you just want to install a pixel on a site with no retargeting campaigns, this is more than you need.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. It is easy to use for beginners. That said, for custom events it helps to be clear about which behavior you want to measure.
Is it only for Facebook?
No. It works with Meta, Google Analytics 4, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok and Reddit.
Does it handle cookie consent?
No. Tracking pixels usually require user consent, so review how you manage your cookie notice before turning them on.
Does it work with AMP pages?
Yes, it includes Google AMP integration so the pixel also fires on those pages.
