About QSM - MailChimp Integration
People who take your quiz leave their email, but nobody turns it into a subscriber
You build a quiz, people answer it and the emails sit in a results table that nobody exports in time. Meanwhile, your MailChimp list only grows through the form in the footer. QSM - MailChimp Integration is a Quiz And Survey Master add-on that sends whoever completes a quiz or survey straight to the list you choose.
Visible checkbox or automatic subscription: you decide how to ask for permission
You can show a checkbox with a custom label, so each person decides whether they want to receive your emails. Or you can hide it and subscribe everyone who answers automatically. The second option adds more contacts, but the first usually gives a more receptive list. Choose according to your type of audience.
- Optional double opt-in: you can enable or disable the confirmation email so the person accepts their sign-up a second time.
- A different list per quiz: each quiz can send to a different list, useful if you handle separate topics or audiences.
- Additional data: if you collect name, business or phone in the quiz, that data travels to MailChimp along with the email.
Tags and minimum score: segmenting by result with QSM - MailChimp Integration
This is the most interesting part for anyone who uses quizzes as an exam or diagnostic. You can require a minimum score for someone to subscribe, so only those who pass join the list. You can also assign MailChimp tags based on the score obtained, and use contact field values as tags. That way, the first email can already be different for someone with a high score and for someone with a low one.
If a contact already exists in your list, there are options to update their details and tags, or to leave them untouched. You can also store the quiz's total points in MailChimp.
Cases where it fits well: collecting customer opinions and continuing the conversation by email.
Before you decide: what you need and what it does not include
It is an add-on, it does not work alone: you need Quiz And Survey Master installed and a MailChimp account with at least one list created. It does not send campaigns or design emails: its job ends when it leaves the contact, with their data and tags, in the list. You prepare automations and messages inside MailChimp.
Can I subscribe only the people who pass?
Yes. You set a minimum score and only those who reach it are added to the list.
Can I use different lists for each quiz?
Yes, the list is chosen in each quiz separately.
Can I ask for email confirmation?
Yes, double opt-in can be enabled or disabled as you prefer.
What data goes to MailChimp besides the email?
The name, business and phone, as long as your quiz collects them. If you collect your audience's personal data, tell them clearly and obtain their consent.
