Keeping Instagram up to date while the website lags behind is a classic: you post photos to your profile, but the site still shows images from months ago, or you end up copying pictures to the gallery by hand. This plugin brings your Instagram posts into WordPress.
Your profile as a storefront that works every day
People who visit your website often check whether there is recent activity. An embedded feed shows them the business is alive. Quadlayers Instagram Feed PRO displays your photos and videos as a gallery or carousel: you paste your Instagram access token, adjust the gallery and the images appear on the site.
Unlimited accounts and a different feed for each one
If you manage several brands, or a store with profiles for each product line, you can add accounts without limit here. Each feed has its own layout and settings, and you can place them on the same page or spread across the site. It also lets you combine several content types in a single feed, such as photos and videos.
Layouts, popup and highlights
- Three built-in layouts: grid, carousel and masonry (a mosaic with varying heights).
- Popup: visitors open photos and videos in a floating gallery without leaving your website.
- Highlighted posts: emphasize posts by following a pattern, by specific ID or by a hashtag in the caption.
- Load more button: lets visitors load more images in the gallery.
- Feed colors: background, padding and rounded border to your taste.
- Profile header: avatar, username and a custom description.
Caching so your feed doesn't depend on Instagram's mood
The plugin caches the data it receives from Instagram, so it makes fewer requests and the page loads faster. It also includes a backup cache: if the Instagram API has problems, the feed still displays. That is a real advantage, because an empty gap on your homepage looks worse than a slightly outdated gallery.
You supply the access token
To connect, you need an access token from your Instagram account; without it there is no feed. Here is what the plugin covers and what is up to you:

- You handle: getting and pasting the token for each account you connect.
