When the cart gets between the customer and the order
A customer who has already decided to buy but still has to click "Add to cart", review the cart and only then reach payment has to go through several steps before finishing. And if part of your catalog lives on Amazon or eBay, the problem is the opposite: the WooCommerce button is useless because the sale is not closed on your site. Quick Buy Now Button for WooCommerce solves both cases with a single configurable button.
One button, three possible destinations in Quick Buy Now Button
Each «Buy now» button can send the shopper to one of these places:
- The cart, if you want to keep the usual flow.
- The checkout page, skipping the cart.
- A custom URL, for example the page of the same product on another marketplace.
You can show it on all products or only some, and also apply it to specific categories. The text and position are editable, and the button can replace "Add to cart" or sit alongside it.
Global, per-product and shortcode settings
There are three configuration levels, and it helps to know which one to use:
- Global settings: button text, redirect destination, default quantity added and whether "Add to cart" is replaced. You can also turn the button on or off on listing pages and product pages.
- Settings for each product: here you change the label and link for that item. This lets you have "Buy on Amazon" on one product and "Buy on eBay" on another, each with its correct link.
- Shortcode: place the button anywhere on the site, for example on a landing page, and customize link, text and quantity.
What to decide before installing Quick Buy Now Button
It is a good option if your store has few purchase steps to simplify or if you want to send traffic to marketplaces. It is a poor option if you need the button to do more than redirect.
Can I use it to sell on Amazon from my site?
It does not sell for you: it only sends the visitor to the URL you specify. The purchase is completed on the other site.
Does it need WooCommerce?
Yes, it is a WooCommerce add-on and does not work without it.
Can I open the link in a new tab?
A buyer's review misses that option, so do not count on it. If it is essential for you, test it in the demo first.
