Studios, interior designers and contractors who live by showing their work
An architect or contractor often has great work and a website that hides it: small photos, projects mixed together with no order and pages that don't explain what was done. Ratio is a theme made for that buyer, the one who needs the portfolio to be the centre of the website and not just another item in the menu.
It is not for you if you want a minimalist theme without a page builder: Ratio is built with WPBakery Page Builder (included). Nor if you want to design with Elementor or with blocks. And watch out for the demo photos: they are for presentation only and cannot be reused on your website, so you will need to add your own.
A portfolio that doesn't force you to present every project the same way
This is Ratio's strongest part. A house with a few powerful photos calls for a different format than a development with dozens of images, and the theme allows it: there are 25 portfolio variants and 10 single project types.
- Lists: standard, gallery, masonry, rows, Pinterest style and scrollable, with animations and category filter.
- Project page: small or big images, slider, gallery, split screen, full screen slider or masonry.
- Lightbox for images and video.
The category filter helps if you work in several areas (for example housing, renovations and commercial work) and don't want visitors to scroll through everything to reach what they need.
Ratio comes with 15 homepages ready to start from a demo
You can import the demo with one click and replace the content, instead of starting from a blank page. There are 15 homepages and many inner pages.
It also brings around 40 shortcodes: testimonials, carousels, video button, social sharing, tooltips, Google Maps with customization options and more. It includes Edge Slider with image and video, parallax, full screen and zoom animations, and Slider Revolution as an included plugin. For the header: mega menu, a different logo on mobile, light and dark logo versions and anchors for one-page websites.
Blog, shop and forms: how far Ratio goes
The blog supports standard or masonry layouts (with infinite scroll and category filter) and post formats such as audio, video, gallery, link or quote. It integrates with WooCommerce, which is useful if you want to sell something specific, but it is not a quote or booking system. For forms it is compatible with Contact Form 7, which is installed separately. Don't expect a built-in Instagram feed either.
It is translation ready, includes a child theme, responsive design and retina screens, seven icon packs and more than 600 Google Fonts for typography.
Questions before building your portfolio with Ratio
Can I import the demo with one click?
Yes, the theme includes one-click import of the demo site. Then you replace texts and images with your own.
Do I need to buy a page builder?
No: WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution come included with the theme.
Is it suitable for an online shop?
It integrates with WooCommerce, but it is designed mainly to showcase projects and services.
Can I use the demo photos?
No. They are only for presenting the theme; use your own photos or images you have obtained yourself.
