Sliders that go stale the day you publish something else
A hand-built slider has one problem: every time you publish a post, add a testimonial or change a product photo, someone has to go in and fix the slider. If that task depends on you, sooner or later the homepage carousel shows what you had three months ago. Soliloquy Dynamic Addon takes the other route: the slider is fed from content that already exists in your WordPress, with no need to re-upload images or duplicate data.
It is an add-on for Soliloquy, the responsive slider plugin. It does not work on its own: it needs Soliloquy installed, and Soliloquy is where you adjust the look and behavior.

The base plugin includes a drag and drop builder, pre-built templates, sliders adapted to mobile, tablet and desktop, touch navigation, a fullscreen lightbox and product sliders for WooCommerce.
It needs Soliloquy and your own WordPress
This add-on is useless without the Soliloquy plugin, and Soliloquy does not work on WordPress.com or on sites that do not use WordPress as their main CMS; a self-hosted installation is required. Nor is it a content generator: if you have no posts, testimonials or images to show, the slider will come out empty. And since it is fed from your content, the quality of your featured images and titles will show directly in the slider. Check in the demo how each source looks before deciding which one to use.
