About sTech – IT Solution & Technology Elementor Wordpress Theme WordPress Theme
An IT company gets called when something is already broken
It is the difference almost no corporate theme takes into account. Someone landing on the site of an accounting firm or a design studio is comparing calmly, maybe for next month. Someone landing on the site of an IT support company usually has a server down, email not working or a whole team unable to do anything.
That person is not going to read your story or your values. They will look for two things in this order: whether you handle what is happening to them and how to reach you right now. If either takes more than ten seconds to find, they move to the next tab, which they already have open.
sTech is a theme for technology companies and IT services, built on Elementor and Bootstrap. What follows is less about what it includes and more about how to set it up so it serves that visit in a hurry.
What it includes
- Design for the technology sector: IT solutions, computing companies and agencies, consulting, digital agencies.
- Elementor as the builder, so pages are edited visually without touching code.
- Bootstrap in a recent version as the layout foundation.
- Responsive design for mobile, tablet and desktop.
- Customisation without programming, which is what the vendor puts first.
- Clean code as a maintenance argument, according to its own description.
The three decisions that determine whether it converts
The phone number, fixed and visible. Not in the footer, not only on the contact page: in the header of every page and pinned on scroll on mobile. An IT company that hides its phone number is unintentionally saying it does not handle emergencies.
Separate the two entrances. Someone with an emergency and someone shopping for a maintenance contract do not want the same thing. One call to action for "I have an incident right now" and another for "I want a maintenance quote" convert far better than a generic "contact us" that serves both and neither.
Say who you serve. Geographic area, company size and technologies. That is what filters most and what the caller appreciates most: nobody wants to explain their problem for ten minutes only to be told you do not cover that.
What it does not do, worth knowing beforehand
It is a presentation theme. It brings no ticketing system or client portal: if you need your clients to open incidents and track their status, that is a separate plugin or an external tool.
It also does not include monitoring, equipment inventory or recurring billing, which are the three pieces a support company actually runs on. The theme is the shop window, not the workshop.
And it depends on Elementor: without the builder, the templates are not edited as intended. If you work with the WordPress block editor, this is not your theme.
Requirements
An up to date WordPress and Elementor installed. As with any theme built on a visual builder, it pays to keep both pieces updated together: incompatibilities between theme and builder versions are the most common reason a page stops rendering properly overnight.
The version published here is 1.0.0. It is a recent theme with no version history behind it, so if long term maintenance weighs on your decision, bear that in mind.
Getting started
1. Install the theme and Elementor, then import the demo closest to what you offer.
2. Before touching colours, write the header: what you do, for whom, and the phone number. Everything else is secondary.
3. Set up the two separate contact routes, emergency and quote, with different forms.
4. Delete the demo pages you are not going to fill in. A five page site done well converts better than a thirty page one done halfway.
Alternatives in the catalogue
On the same ground there are two more established themes: Tronix, also for IT services and technology, and Neuros, aimed at technology agencies with artificial intelligence up front.
If your work is more design and development than support, DeepDigital is built for web agencies. And the builder all of this runs on is Elementor Pro.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Elementor?
Yes. The templates are built with it and without the builder they are not edited as intended.
Does it include a client ticketing system?
No. It is a presentation theme: tickets are a separate plugin.
Does it work for a small IT company?
Yes, and in fact using few pages is advisable. The risk with these themes is filling thirty sections nobody reads.
Is it mobile responsive?
Yes, and in this sector it matters more than usual: many emergencies are searched from a phone.
Can I change colours and fonts without programming?
Yes, from Elementor. The vendor puts this forward as one of its main arguments.
What WordPress version does it need?
The vendor listing does not specify. It is worth testing on a staging install before taking it to production.
