About User Dashboard Addon for MEC
You are the one answering emails like "where is my ticket?"
When an event works, it is not just sales that grow: so do the emails from people asking where their ticket is, whether they can cancel, or how to change the details of their talk. That front-desk work never shows up in any budget, but it multiplies with every edition. This addon moves it to a page on your site where each person sorts out their own things.
It suits you if attendees, organizers and speakers coexist on your site, or if several people publish events and you do not want them in the WordPress admin. It does not suit you if you organize a few events on your own, and it does not work by itself either: it is an add-on for Modern Events Calendar (Lite or Pro) and depends on it.
User Dashboard Addon for MEC: a different panel for each role
An exclusive shortcode places the full panel on any page. From the MEC settings you choose which sections each role sees (organizer, speaker or subscriber), so an attendee does not see event management and an organizer only sees what concerns them.
The panel is responsive and includes a visual calendar to browse events, an expanded list with columns and filters to create, edit and manage events, and a full-screen mode for working without distractions. Anyone with an organizer or speaker role edits their own profile from the website, and any user can complete their profile and change their password.
Bookings, attendees and payments in the organizer's view
What you used to request by email or hunt for in the admin now lives in dedicated sections:
- Bookings: created and edited from the panel.
- Attendees: sections to view and manage those who come through bookings, RSVPs or the waiting list.
- Payments: a section to follow every transaction.
- Reports: each user sees their revenue and key figures at a glance.
- Export: the participant list comes out in Excel-friendly formats.
- Cancellation: buyers can cancel the ticket they purchased themselves, so check that your cancellation policy allows it.
- Maps: if the event has a location, it can be viewed on Google Maps with directions.
RSVP and waiting list appear only with their own addons
The RSVP and waiting list sections are available only if the corresponding MEC addons are installed and active. Without them, the panel does not replace them. Before buying, decide which part of your operation needs each addon and do not expect this one to cover everything.
Requiring login before booking
You can require login to book specific events, or enable in the MEC booking settings a public access option that applies to all tickets at once. Users can also log in quickly from the panel page itself, and the panel syncs with the WooCommerce My Account page. The upside is that every buyer ends up with an account and a history; the cost is one more step before buying, which can put off someone in a hurry. Check in the demo how that step looks.
Common questions before setting up the panel
Does it work without Modern Events Calendar?
No. It needs MEC Lite or Pro installed, because the panel manages its events and bookings.
Do users need to enter the WordPress admin?
No. Bookings, events and profile are managed from the front end, without admin access.
Can I limit what each user sees?
Yes. You choose by role (organizer, speaker or subscriber) which panel sections are available, from the MEC settings.
Can I get the attendee list?
Yes, it is exported in Excel-friendly formats.
