Picture an academy with one form for students and another for teachers. This is how you would work:
- Step 1, pick a starting point: there are six pre-built templates, or you can create one from scratch with the customizer. With six options, if your brand has a very distinct style, you will usually either tweak quite a bit or start blank.
- Step 2, adjust the design: change the layout, colors, typography and content. The live preview shows fonts, colors, spacing and backgrounds as you modify them, so you see the result before saving.
- Step 3, assign it to each form: your template can replace the default email content of a specific form. The student gets one message and the teacher another, each with its own tone.

Two limits to keep in mind from the start: it is an addon and needs the User Registration & Membership plugin to work, and it deals with the look of that registration system's emails, not with sending campaigns or newsletters.

Six templates and a blank canvas: you write the text
The addon solves the design, not the copywriting. Making the welcome email say something useful (what to do now, how to log in, who to write to if there is a problem) is up to you. An elegant template with an empty message is still a poor first contact.
If your membership site has several types of member, take advantage of the per-form assignment so each group receives a message made for them, with the same visual identity across all of them.
