About Viva Themes Delirium WordPress Theme
Fashion, weddings and portfolios: businesses sold by the photo
If you work in fashion, weddings or as a creative, you know nobody reads your site before looking at it. A theme with too many elements competes with your own images, and a theme that hides the portfolio lets your best work go unnoticed. Delirium bets on a clean, elegant design so that your visual material takes center stage.
A home page with five ways to organize itself
The Delirium home page includes an integrated, flexible image slider. Below it you can choose between five layouts for the front page:
- Your blog.
- A page with a sidebar.
- A full-width page.
- A page with featured pages and posts, as in the demo.
- Your portfolio.
That way, a fashion designer can open with the slider and the portfolio, and a wedding photographer with a selection of featured posts.
Multiple portfolios, each in its own menu
You can create several portfolios and add each one to a menu, for example one per project type or per collection. There is also a page template that gathers all project types in a single view, if you prefer to show everything together. Inside each portfolio entry, the theme displays an image slideshow that is activated by adding the photos to the entry.
Featured posts template
Another template lets you display a selection of posts or pages differently from the blog. It works for presenting your services or any other content you want to highlight.
Customize without touching code: colors, social links and logo
From the WordPress customizer you can change the colors of most elements and see the result live. It includes a social media menu with 28 icons, logo and favicon upload, a custom background panel, a multi-level dropdown menu, a full-width template, threaded comments and blog pagination. It also styles the Contact Form 7 form and is translation ready (a .pot file is included).
If you want to make code changes, the theme creates and activates a child theme with one click, which is the recommended way to modify it without losing your changes.
The theme has no store or bookings: you cover that yourself
Delirium is designed to show your work, not to manage it. Here is what it solves and what you will need to add:
- Already solved: a layout that adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop, slider, portfolios, social media, colors and styling for Contact Form 7.
- With another plugin: the form itself (the theme only styles it, so you need to install Contact Form 7), and any online store or booking or appointment system.
- By hand or with a professional: the content, the photographs and the texts for your brand or your wedding.
Nor is it a theme with a drag-and-drop block builder: the home page layouts are the five it offers.
