Who is the star of your site: the film or the person who made it?
A production company, a videographer, a director and an actress can each be hired for very different reasons. With the company you are buying capacity and crew. With the director, a point of view. With the actress, a specific presence on screen.
That is why the first decision on a film website is one of hierarchy. If you do not choose what stars on the front page, the work, the team or the service, they all compete for the same space and none of them comes through. That choice matters more than color or typography, which can be changed later.
Vome, by Theme_Pure, is a WordPress theme for film makers, videographers, actors and directors, built with Elementor. It comes with four home pages and its own widgets such as Service, Member and Drama, so that hierarchy can be worked out in the editor.

Choose the home page by what you want to sell
With four home pages to choose from, the practical test starts with what you sell. You can start from these three questions:
- Are you hired for commissions? Give priority to the services section, with the Service widget, and leave the work as proof.
- Are you hired for your team? Move the members section up with the Member widget, so people see who will do the job.
- Are you hired for a specific work? Let your dramas and projects open the page.
Since the home page is edited in Elementor, you can reorder its blocks if none matches exactly. Check it with your own material.
Bookings, a shop and blocks are left out
Vome presents your work; it does not run the business behind it. Its features do not include shoot or studio bookings, or a WooCommerce shop. Nor do they include catalogs of movies and series with viewing pages.
Editing revolves around Elementor, and the theme is not optimized for Gutenberg. If you prefer working in the block editor, this should weigh on your decision.
Importing the Vome demo and adapting it
You need WordPress and Elementor, which is the editor you use to work with the theme widgets. Follow this order:
- Install and activate the theme along with Elementor.
- Decide what stars on the front page: work, team or service.
- Use the one-click import to load the closest demo.
- Replace the sample text and images with your material and check the result on a phone.
- Adjust color and typography last, with the final content in place.
- If you will publish in Arabic, Hebrew or another RTL language, turn on those settings and go through each page.
Themes and kits for people who work with video
Frames, by HaruTheme, adds the Videos and People content types, with genres, years and tags. It fits better if your filmography is long and you want to treat each work as a record.
If you already have a theme and only want a starting point for Elementor, look at Filmoo. And if you are building a movie and series site for the public, Vodi has movie, series and episode pages.
