About Watu PRO
Collecting answers is the easy part; grading them well is what counts
Building a quiz in WordPress takes little effort; the hard part comes afterwards: scoring fairly questions that do not weigh the same, deciding who can see each exam, and turning a hundred loose answers into something readable. Watu PRO focuses on what comes next: grading, sharing the workload and analyzing the results.
It runs inside your own WordPress, is managed from the admin panel and adapts to touch screens and to modern desktop and mobile browsers. It fits training and education, but also research, contests, marketing or capturing the contact details of the people who respond. It does not require advanced technical knowledge.
Scoring with your own rules instead of a flat grade
A certification assessment is not scored like a contest or an opinion survey. Watu PRO lets you define how each question is evaluated and how many points it awards, and adds a grading system.
- Calculation rules per question: different ways of evaluating the answer and distributing points.
- Contact data: it collects the details of the test taker along with their answers, useful in contests or for capturing contacts.
- Conditional logic and Likert scale: added through free add-ons.
Roles, groups and reports: Watu PRO when you do not work alone
An exam is rarely run by one person: someone writes it, someone reviews it, someone checks the results, and the people answering are not a uniform block either. Role management lets you share the work with other participants, and role or group management for test takers fine-tunes access to each quiz or exam. If you train several audiences, this keeps everyone from seeing everything.
For analysis, the reporting module generates charts, statistics and cross tabulations on your surveys.
Is Watu PRO enough on its own, or do you need add-ons?
That is the real decision. The plugin covers test creation, grading, roles and reports. Other features arrive as separate add-ons or connectors: WooCommerce integration, PDF support, LMS integration and bridges to several email marketing services. Before deciding, list what you need and check that it is covered by the base plugin or by the matching add-on. If you are after something very specific, such as time control or random question order, verify it in the demo.
Nor is it a full LMS by itself: it manages tests, not a campus with lessons. For that you would need to connect it to a course system through the integration add-on.
Is it only for exams?
No. It is also used for surveys, research, contests and marketing campaigns. The reporting part is designed precisely to analyze surveys.
Do I need to know how to code?
No advanced technical knowledge is needed: everything is managed from the WordPress panel.
Can I sell access to my exams?
There is a WooCommerce integration add-on. You will need to add it and have WooCommerce on your site; check beforehand that it covers selling access.
Does it look good on mobile?
It is designed to work with touch screens and in modern desktop and mobile browsers. Even so, test it with your own questions before publishing.
