About WC Vendors Stripe Connect
Splitting commissions by hand stops being viable with your second vendor
A marketplace starts with a simple promise: the customer pays once and each vendor gets their share. The problem appears when that promise depends on manual transfers, spreadsheets full of percentages and vendors writing every week to ask when they get paid. WC Vendors Stripe Connect links WooCommerce with Stripe Connect so that card payment and commission splitting happen inside the order itself.
What happens when a customer buys from several vendors
Your business is not just the store, it is also other people's bookkeeping. Every order with products from different vendors is, in practice, several payments hidden in one, and every splitting mistake is an argument with someone who depends on that money. That is why the split should be done by the system and not by a person.
The plugin uses the official Stripe API. Vendors connect their standard Stripe account with a button on the shop settings page of their dashboard and receive their commissions in that account. For the European market it is SCA ready (it uses separate charges and transfers) and supports Bancontact payments.

If you are launching a small marketplace
You want setup to be short and vendors to connect without help. Each vendor signs up with a single button from their dashboard.
If you already sell with WC Vendors Pro
It works with both WC Vendors Marketplace and WC Vendors Pro. It supports direct charges and separate charges, so you can choose the model that best fits how you want the payment to appear.
If you sell to European customers or in several currencies
It accepts every currency Stripe supports. Customers can save their cards (through tokens, PCI compliant) for future purchases and manage them from My Account, which is useful if you expect returning buyers.
If your vendors offer subscriptions
The plugin includes subscription support, so it is not limited to one-off sales.
Refunds require WC Vendors Pro
This is the limit most worth knowing before buying. Refund support is only available with WC Vendors Pro, not with the free version of WC Vendors. It is also an add-on: it needs WooCommerce and WC Vendors to work, and vendors must have a standard Stripe account, not another account type. If your vendors live in a country where Stripe does not operate, they will not be able to connect.

They receive commissions in their connected Stripe account. Exact availability times depend on Stripe's terms in each country.

It works with WC Vendors Marketplace and with Pro, but refunds only with Pro.
Does it comply with European payment rules?
It is SCA ready, but responsibility for compliance in your marketplace remains yours.
