About WP All Export Pro
For people who regularly move WordPress data into a spreadsheet, not for anyone who just wants a backup
Getting data out of WordPress often ends in a database dump nobody can read, columns with internal names that mean nothing, or copying and pasting row by row. WP All Export Pro is for whoever needs a tidy, tailor-made file: an agency migrating content, a store moving its catalog to another system, or someone who wants to review hundreds of products in Excel.
It is not a backup tool or a full site cloner. It exports data (posts, pages, users, products and more) as CSV, XML or Excel. If you want to restore an entire site with its settings and files, you need a different kind of plugin.
The real problem with WordPress data: what you see on screen is not what is stored
A product, a listing or a user profile spreads its information across tables, custom fields and metadata. Anyone who has never exported from WordPress is surprised to find that price, stock and images live in different places. That is why the useful part here is not exporting, but deciding how the final file looks.
How you build the file with WP All Export Pro
The process is drag and drop: you choose which content to export, pick the columns and run the export. The interesting part is in the middle:
- Columns your way: you can reorder them, rename the labels and combine several fields into one.
- Filters: you define rules so only what you care about goes into the file, instead of everything.
- CSV by default: also Excel and XML, and the files open in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Your own PHP: you can write and test PHP inside the plugin to create fully custom fields.
- Large sites: it is built to export large volumes of data.
XML for systems that demand a specific format
If an external platform requires a specific XML schema, the builder lets you assemble it visually or by writing the XML by hand, even with programming logic. This is the part that most sets the plugin apart from a basic exporter, but it also takes some technical judgment: a complex schema is not solved by dragging alone.
Edit in Excel and re-import: where this plugin stops
One of the most practical ideas is to export, fix prices or texts in a spreadsheet and send the changes back to the site. Note that exporting is only half of it. WP All Export Pro on its own does not write data to your site.
Stores, users, languages and automation
With WooCommerce you can export products, variations, attributes, orders, customers, subscriptions and reviews. Users too, although passwords always come out hashed and are not readable. If you work with WPML, a language switcher lets you export translated data. Exports can be scheduled through cron or the manufacturer's scheduling service, and there is a Zapier integration to send the result to other applications.
If you handle personal data of customers or users, think about where you store those files and who you send them to.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know how to code?
Not for the basics: choosing content, columns and format is visual. PHP and hand-written XML are optional, for complex cases.
Does it export custom fields?
Yes, including custom post types and metadata. The manufacturer's family has specific add-ons for ACF, Meta Box, JetEngine and Gravity Forms; check in the demo that your particular field shows up.
Can I export in a format other than CSV?
Yes, by switching the export type to Excel or XML on the drag and drop screen.
Is it useful for migrating a whole site?
It does not replace a full cloning tool.
Can I use it on several sites?
Yes, installation is not limited to a single site.
