About WPC Admin Columns

An order list that doesn't show what you need to know

Anyone running a WooCommerce store spends the day on the Products and Orders screens, and those screens show what WooCommerce decided by default, not what your team needs. The result is familiar: opening each order just to read a note, filtering to find which products are of a certain type, or opening the Screen Options menu again and again to turn columns on and off.

Every extra click is multiplied by every order and every product you review during the week. That is where WPC Admin Columns comes in.

WPC Admin Columns: every column in a single window

The plugin gathers all the available columns of each list in one popup, with the default WooCommerce columns at the top. You turn each one on or off with a button, reorder them by dragging and adjust their width. If you make a mistake, one click resets everything to the original state.

  • Products: ID, SKU, featured image, gallery, type, name, status, description, short description, weight and dimensions, plus metadata.
  • Orders: ID, status, billing, payment and notes, alongside the usual WooCommerce columns.
  • Posts and pages: properties, ID, excerpt and name.
  • Taxonomies: category, tag, collection, brand, product category or attribute.

A practical example: with the product type column you see at a glance which products are simple and which are special types such as Smart Bundles, Smart Composite or Smart Grouped, without filtering the list.

Custom columns with text or shortcode, and columns for other WPClever plugins

The most interesting part is the custom columns for products and orders. You can add as many as you want, fill them with text or a shortcode and remove them with their delete button when they are no longer useful. What they show depends on the content or shortcode you use, so they work for any internal data your team checks often.

If you already use other WPClever plugins, there are ready-made columns for them: WPC Price by Quantity, WPC Price by User Role, WPC Smart Product Collections, WPC Brands, WPC Smart Wishlist, WPC Product Timer and WPC Countdown Timer. Clicking the icon opens the quick edit popup with their settings. In orders there is also a column for notes created with WPC Order Notes for WooCommerce, which lets you read them and add a new one from a popup.

Orders with custom tables and users: decide if the basic version is enough

The essentials (columns, order, width, custom columns) cover products, posts, pages and the classic order list. But two things are exclusive to the paid version: compatibility with WooCommerce custom order tables (HPOS) and customization of the users table, with username, email, role, posts and wishlist. Also, the columns for WPClever plugins only make sense if you have those plugins installed.

Does it work if my store uses HPOS?

Yes, but that compatibility belongs to the paid version. If your orders are in the custom tables, check it before deciding.

Can I show my own data, such as an internal field?

Yes, with a custom text or shortcode column. You can create as many as you need.

Can I go back to how it was?

Yes, a button resets all columns to their original settings.
