About WPMU Dev Beehive Pro
Anyone who manages websites for clients knows the scene: the client asks how many people visited this month, you open Google Analytics, get lost in menus built for analysts and end up sending a screenshot they don't understand. Beehive Pro brings GA4 data into the WordPress dashboard so that answer is one click away.
What a real check-in looks like with Beehive Pro
Imagine you run the website for a restaurant or a small shop. This is the typical walkthrough:
- You connect Google. A setup wizard guides you through linking your Google Analytics 4 account. If you already have the measurement ID, you can enter it manually.
- You open the dashboard. You see real-time traffic, trend charts and data with percentages, without leaving WordPress.
- You look at what works. Content tracking shows your best-performing pages, and a world map tells you where visits come from.
- You check where traffic comes from. You can monitor referral links and display ads to see which channel deserves more effort.
What a small business often doesn't realize: most people look at total visits and feel reassured, when what's useful is knowing which page brings people in and from which channel.
A dashboard the client can look at without breaking anything
User-role access control decides who sees the reports and who manages them. This way you can show statistics to the client or their marketing team without giving them access to the Google account. Reports are customizable: you choose the metrics that matter instead of the whole GA4 catalog.
Google Tag Manager inside WordPress
Beehive Pro includes Google Tag Manager management, so you can add the container from the plugin instead of pasting code into the theme. It supports 8-digit container IDs. It helps track how users interact with the site, but you still define the tags and events themselves in Tag Manager.
Multisite: one setup for all subsites
If you manage a WordPress network, you can track the statistics of each subsite with a single setup.
Privacy and limits you should know
You can anonymize IP addresses, which helps reduce the use of personal data, but turning that option on is not the same as complying with GDPR: that depends on how you configure the whole site, including the cookie notice, which this plugin does not handle. Also, Beehive Pro shows data from Google Analytics and Tag Manager, so you need a Google account and a GA4 property. It is not an analytics system of its own that works without Google.
Frequently asked questions
Does it replace Google Analytics?
No. It reads the data from your GA4 account and presents it in WordPress. For very detailed analysis you will still need the Google interface.
Does it work on Multisite networks?
Yes, it lets you track subsites with a single setup.
Can a non-administrator user see the statistics?
Yes, according to the role permissions you define in the plugin.
Does it work with my theme or page builder?
It is compatible with the plugins, themes and builders of the WordPress ecosystem. Even so, test the tracking on a copy of your site before using it in production.
Is it available in Spanish?
It is available in 41 languages and supports white label in the footer and icons, useful if you hand it over to a client.
