You upload the catalog, magazine or brochure as a PDF, add a download link and wait. The visitor downloads it (or not), opens it in another app and loses the feeling of browsing something. People who publish editorial material tend to blame the content, when the real problem is often the delivery format: a loose file doesn't invite anyone to turn the page.
3D FlipBook displays images, PDFs or HTML as a book you can flip, inside your own WordPress page. Visitors read without leaving your site, and you decide which page and surroundings they see it in.
From a catalog PDF to a page you can flip through, step by step
- Step 1, choose your material. You can start from a PDF, loose images or HTML pages. The better laid out the original is, the better the book will look: the plugin presents it, it doesn't fix it.
- Step 2, create the book in the editor. The plugin includes a book editor inside WordPress, where you assemble the content and get it ready to publish.
- Step 3, pick the look. There are skins to change the viewer's appearance and bring it closer to your brand's style. Check the demo to see which one suits you.
- Step 4, place it on the page. It is compatible with Elementor, WPBakery, Beaver Builder and the block editor, although it is not specifically optimized for Gutenberg: test how it embeds in your page before building the whole site around it.
The physics-based flip effect catches the eye, but the last step is the one to watch: open the published page on a real phone, with your own document and not the sample one.

Does it only work with PDF?
No. It supports PDFs, images and HTML, so it also works if your material is a series of images or pages you already have on your site.
Does it look good on mobile?
It is designed as a responsive viewer with a mobile version. Still, check in the demo how it behaves with a document similar to yours.
Does it work with my page builder?
It is listed as compatible with Elementor, Elementor Pro, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Visual Composer and Cornerstone, as well as the block editor. It also works with WPML if your site is multilingual.
Does it look sharp on high-resolution screens?
Yes, it is ready for high resolution. The final sharpness will still depend on the quality of the images or the PDF you give it.
A good book won't fix a bad document
3D FlipBook is a viewer: it turns your material into a more polished reading experience, but it doesn't improve the content. If the PDF has tiny text or pages designed for oversized print formats, flipping through it with a 3D effect won't make it more readable on a small screen. It is a good option for magazines, catalogs, brochures, cards or portfolios that are already well made and that you want people to read instead of downloading and forgetting.
