Paying for advertising means betting before you know whether a sale will happen. An affiliate program reverses the order: a commission is only generated when someone buys. Affiliate For WooCommerce builds that program inside your own store, with no external platform in between, and lets you decide in detail how much each partner earns and why.

A flat 20% across the whole catalog can be ruinous on low-margin products. That is why the most valuable part of the plugin is its commission plan system.

Commission plans that respect the margin of each product

You can create unlimited plans, using a percentage or a flat amount, with combinable conditions:

• By product, category, attribute, tag, shipping class or custom taxonomies such as brand or material.
• By performance: revenue, number of orders, number of customers or whether there was a referral in recent days.
• By affiliate, by group (tags) or by parent affiliate, for multi-tier programs.
• By subscriptions: one commission for the initial order and another for renewals.
• By order: coupons used, payment method, subtotal, user role, the customer's first order or purchase as a guest.

This way you can, for example, pay more to affiliates tagged as influencers, pay nothing on accessories, or give a lower commission on cash-on-delivery orders than on prepaid ones. There are also templates and plan duplication so you don't start from scratch.

How each type of partner gets paid

If you work with influencers and ambassadors

Group them with tags, give them their own commission and hand them coupon URLs that apply the discount and record the referral at the same time. They can ask you for custom coupon codes and share materials from campaigns, which you can also restrict for private promotions or contests.

If you want your customers to recommend you

Customers or subscribers can automatically become affiliates, with a commission different from that of other partners. It is useful if your best channel is already word of mouth.

There is an import of affiliates that keeps links exactly as they are, so the ones already distributed don't break. Even so, review your commission rules before activating anything, because it is wise to reproduce them calmly in the new system.

If you want a network that grows on its own

Multi-tier mode allows unlimited levels, with a different commission per level (for example 20%, 15% and 10%), and a visual tree of sub-affiliates. Before using it, consider whether the added complexity suits your costs and your image.

Tracking, payouts and fraud control

Tracking can be done with links, custom links, coupons, landing pages, API or direct tracking without a link. You can credit the first or the last affiliate who brought in the customer. With lifetime commissions, the affiliate keeps earning on future purchases by the customer they introduced, even if the customer deletes cookies or buys from another device; for guests it relies on the billing email. You can turn it off storewide or exclude affiliates.

For payouts you define the refund period, minimum amount, maximum amount and payout day. There are manual and automatic payouts with PayPal and Stripe, and also with store credit or fixed cart coupons. Cash, bank transfers and checks are also supported. A pending payouts dashboard shows who has unpaid commissions and which ones are scheduled.

Against fraud: commissions are only eligible after the refund period and are revoked on refunded orders, you can allow or block self-referrals, protect signup with reCaptcha and approve or reject commissions manually.

Is there a limit on affiliates or orders?

There is no limit on affiliates, clicks, orders or commissions.

Can affiliates see their results?

Yes. From My Account they see visits, commissions, refunds, products sold, referral medium, country and payouts, and they can also generate their link and view campaigns and materials.

Can I take my data out?

Yes, it can be exported to CSV, and a monthly summary arrives by email.

It only works inside WooCommerce

This is a plugin for WooCommerce stores: it is not suitable for sites without a shop. Some payouts, such as reward points, require an external plugin and are manual. Changing the look of the affiliate dashboard requires overriding templates, which takes some technical knowledge.
