Anyone buying jewelry online arrives with questions, and the product page has to answer them
Will it arrive before the anniversary? What if the size is wrong? Can it be returned? Who answers if I have a question about the piece? Those questions show up right in front of the buy button, and if the page does not answer them, the customer goes looking elsewhere.
In jewelry, the product page does the job that the person behind the counter does in a physical store. Alukas is a WooCommerce theme by PressLayouts built with Elementor. Beyond the home pages, what to look at for this business are the pieces designed to settle doubts inside the product page itself.
What Alukas places next to the buy button
- Estimated delivery time, for people buying with a date in mind.
- Delivery and returns, in view without leaving the product page.
- Ask a question: a Contact Form 7 form that passes the product title as a hidden field, so you know which piece they mean.
- Size guide, useful for rings.
- Product policy and trust badge on the same page.
- Visitor count for the product.
Except for the size guide, all of these are enabled in Alukas, Theme Options, Single Product, Advance Options. Enabling them is the easy part: the delivery times and conditions shown there are yours to write, and they must match what you actually deliver.
How it shows the piece and how it closes the sale
To display: eight or more gallery layouts, four or more product page layouts, 360-degree view, video gallery and variation swatches for choosing without dropdowns.
To buy: quick buy button, sticky add to cart, off-canvas cart, free shipping progress bar, frequently bought together, wishlist, comparison and a countdown for promotions.
To browse: Ajax search, filters by attribute and price, a brands widget, mega menu and unlimited headers and footers.
The demo gathers 16 home pages. Not all are jewelry: there are three fashion variants, Beauty and Shoes, plus a right-to-left version.
No price per gram or certificates, and built with Elementor
It is not a jewelry system. Its features include no price-per-gram calculation, no certificate management and no custom piece configurator. It is a store theme.
It is built with Elementor. Pages are edited with it, so it does not fit if you work with another page builder.
The 360 and the video are yours to supply. The theme offers the space, but the material for each piece is your work.
Languages and currencies need separate plugins. The language switcher needs WPML, which does not come with the theme, although it also supports Polylang and TranslatePress. The currency switcher needs a third-party plugin, such as WooCommerce Multilingual or FOX.
Multi-vendor means compatible. It works with Dokan, WC Vendors, WC Marketplace and WCFM, which are installed separately.
PHP limits, demo import and size and metal attributes
It is compatible with WordPress 6.0 to 7.0 and WooCommerce 6.x to 11.2. The recommended PHP limits are memory_limit of 256M, max_execution_time of 600, max_input_time of 300, and post_max_size and upload_max_filesize of 32M.
The setup order is this:
- Upload alukas.zip from Appearance, Themes, and activate it.
- Use the notice to install and activate the required plugins.
- Go to Alukas, Demo Import, and pick the home page closest to your catalog.
- Import and wait without reloading: it can take about 10 minutes.
- Create the size and metal attributes before adding variations.
- Enable the product page options and write your delivery times and conditions.

For what Alukas leaves out, WPML covers the language switcher and WooCommerce Multilingual serves for the currency one. It is also compatible with Elementor Pro.

Is it only for jewelry stores?
No. Its home pages include fashion, beauty and footwear variants, although the focus is jewelry.
Does it show delivery times on the product page?
Yes, with the Estimated Delivery Time option. You configure the text.
Does it work in Arabic or Hebrew?
It supports right-to-left writing, and the demo includes a home page in that format.
Can I build a marketplace of jewelers?
It is compatible with Dokan, WC Vendors, WC Marketplace and WCFM, but that plugin provides the marketplace.
