Charging for content and ending up managing by hand who paid what
Setting up a paid site often starts well and goes wrong soon after: one form here, payments somewhere else, a spreadsheet to know who is up to date, and access you have to grant or remove manually. ARMember Membership Plugin brings plans, forms, payments and content restriction together in one plugin so that administration does not eat the time you should spend on content.
Whoever runs a membership lives on retention and on how content is delivered, not only on sign-ups.
Four plan types and level changes without overcharging
From the setup wizard you create as many plans as you need, in four types:
- Free.
- Paid infinite.
- Paid finite, with a defined duration and options to upgrade or downgrade when the period ends.
- Recurring, for periodic subscriptions.
If a member changes plan mid-period, the plugin can prorate the amount according to the days used, so they only pay the difference. It is a detail that avoids overcharging.
Content released little by little, or sold on its own
Restriction relies on content access rules. On top of that comes drip content: you schedule what is released and when, also according to the plan, and you can even show only part of it to encourage people to subscribe. For courses or templates with a schedule, this stops someone taking everything at once.
With Pay Per Post you sell a specific post or course to someone who does not want a full membership.

Forms, members and dashboard: what you will see every day
The built-in form builder covers sign-up, login, forgot password and change password, with templates and editable fields. From the dashboard you see all members in a list, edit or delete their data and check each one's payment history. There are also widgets with analytics, styling options, multisite compatibility and an API for developers.
Gateways and payments: check before launching
A long list of gateways does not mean all of them suit you. Check that yours works with your country, your currency and the plan type (recurring ones do not always behave the same on every gateway) and make a test payment. GDPR options exist, but compliance depends on how you set up your texts and consents.
