The WhatsApp button, but with rules
Putting a WhatsApp button on a website is easy: one link and you are done. The problem comes afterwards, when messages arrive at three in the morning with nobody to answer, when the same button handles sales and support enquiries without distinguishing them, or when somebody writes from a country you do not ship to.
Click to Chat turns that link into a system with conditions: when it appears, to whom, with what message and to which number.
When and to whom it shows
- Business hours, switching to an alternative number out of hours rather than leaving the message unanswered.
- By country, through geolocation.
- Depending on whether they are logged in or browsing anonymously.
- By delay or scroll percentage, so it does not pop up before the visitor has read anything.
- Different on mobile and desktop, which is only sensible: on mobile WhatsApp opens in the app, on desktop in the browser.
- By category or specific page.
Multiple agents
It can show several contacts with their availability status, organised by department, so the visitor chooses who they talk to instead of writing to a general inbox. There is also random distribution across several WhatsApp numbers, the simple way to balance load across a team.
The greeting
Four different systems: a customisable popup, messages based on page content or post type, and a form collecting name, email and custom fields **before** opening the conversation. That last one turns the button into lead capture: you know who wrote even if the sale does not close.
With WooCommerce
The message is prefilled with product data through variables such as price and name, with separate configuration for the product page and the shop archive. So the message that reaches you already says which product it is about, rather than a "hello" you have to ask about.
Measuring
It sends events to Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversions, and supports webhooks for pushing the data into another system. That is what lets you know how much the button actually sells.

Eleven predefined styles plus customisation options, including an image-based custom style.
