Choosing photos by email takes longer than editing them
Sending the link to a whole shoot and getting an email that says "the third one, grandma's, not the next one" is the start of a chain of messages nobody pays you for. Envira Gallery Proofing Addon moves that choice to a gallery on your own site, where the client marks and comments, and you receive everything in order.
A photographer's bottleneck is rarely shooting: it's waiting for the client to decide. Until they choose there is no retouching, no delivery and no payment.
What your client does inside the gallery
The client browses the gallery and, without leaving your site, can:
- Mark favorites among all the photos from the shoot.
- Request changes on the photos.
- Specify size and quantity of the prints they want.
Envira gathers selections, comments and order details into a summary, so you don't have to build it by hand. You can create unlimited client galleries.

If you photograph weddings, families or events
You upload the shoot and send the link. You receive the client's selection with their comments in a summary, instead of scattered across emails and phone messages.
If you sell prints or albums
You can set prices, enable size and quantity selection and require the client's email. An orders screen lets you view and edit them and track their status: active, pending or completed. If you need to take payment on the site, Envira integrates with WooCommerce.
If your studio cares about its image
The gallery doesn't have to look generic. You can change layouts, themes, lightbox styles and add your own CSS so the client sees it as part of your brand.
Common questions before setting up proofing with Envira
Can I use it to deliver the final gallery? Yes: you create the gallery, protect it if needed and send the link. When the client finishes, you receive the summary of choices, comments and order.
Can I use it with unedited photos? That is the intended use: the client chooses from unedited or lightly edited photos and you work only on the chosen ones.
Can I charge from the gallery? Through WooCommerce, yes. The proofing orders screen is for managing selections and their status.
Will it fit my design? There are several layouts, themes, lightbox styles and custom CSS.
It needs Envira Gallery and another addon for password protection
It is not a standalone plugin: it is an add-on that works on top of Envira Gallery. Password protection for private galleries is a different addon, Password Protection, so activate it if you don't want anyone with the link to see a client's photos. To take payments on the site you also need WooCommerce.
