Running a farm stay or country house with lodging, a restaurant and a shop often ends in a website that tells only one of the three stories: a hotel page with no products, a shop with no story, or a brochure with no way to get in touch. Farmhouse is built so all of it lives in the same place, with large typography and generous white space that lets your countryside photos breathe.

Someone who books a rural stay is also a potential customer for your olive oil, cheese or wine, but only if they see the farm, the room and the product as part of the same story. This theme is organized around that logic.

Pages already designed for every part of the farm

The demo walks through the pages a rural business usually needs to present its offer:

There are over 20 pages with their own style. You replace images and text instead of designing the structure from scratch.

Accommodation, offers and weather modules

The theme includes an accommodation module and an offers module, plus a weather widget. You get three homepage styles and three menu styles, a blog template and a contact template. Each page has its own options: full-width or sidebar layout, a header you can turn on or off, a description and a slider with Revolution Slider.

Customization

You can change colors, backgrounds and typography (system or Google fonts), and edit pages with the Visual Composer page builder. It also supports a child theme, lets you export and import settings as a backup, and can be translated with a .po file or with WPML and Polylang.

Online bookings need a separate plugin

This is the point that disappoints most if you don't know it beforehand. The theme presents rooms and prices, but it is not a booking engine with a calendar and payment. Compatibility with the Opal Hotel Room Booking plugin is stated, so that is the route if you want bookings on your site. For the rest, here is what is already solved and what is up to you:

• Solved: room pages, a prices page, offers, a contact form with a privacy (GDPR) checkbox and a map with configurable style.
• Solved: a shop with WooCommerce, with a catalog mode if you don't want to sell online, and product widgets.
• With another plugin: bookings with availability and payment (Opal Hotel Room Booking or another).
• With another plugin: newsletter, using the widget that works with MailChimp for WordPress.
• By hand or with a professional: photos, text, shop taxes and shipping, and any feature not in the demo.

A farm shop with WooCommerce

The shop runs on WooCommerce, so you can sell products with variations, coupons, shipping and several payment methods. The theme adds layouts with or without a sidebar, Visual Composer elements for recent, featured, on-sale or best-selling products, and the option to hide price, buy button, categories or related products. With catalog mode, the site shows your products without selling them.

Is it suitable for anything other than agrotourism?

It is designed for agrotourism, farming and food stores. A rural lodging, a winery or a farm with direct sales fits better than a business unrelated to the countryside.

Can I import the demo?

Yes, it includes demo content with one-click import. The demo images are not in the download, so you will need to add your own.

Do I need additional plugins?

It works with Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and ACF, and with WooCommerce if you want a shop. For bookings or a newsletter you need the plugins mentioned above.

Does it work in several languages?

Yes, it is compatible with WPML and Polylang, and can be translated with a .po file.
