About Fast & Custom Grid
Show your content in a grid without fighting CSS
Showing projects, posts or team members often ends up as a long, boring list, or as a custom layout that nobody dares to touch afterwards. Fast & Custom Grid solves that specific point: it gives you a system of ready-made grids so you can pick a style, adjust it and publish it.
The people who install it are usually designers, developers or companies with a portfolio of work.
Four layout types and more than 30 skins in Fast & Custom Grid
The plugin organizes its skins into four families:
- Grid: seven skins for regular grids of posts or items.
- Portfolio: seven skins designed to show work, with a variant that adds a preview of the item.
- Carousel: eight skins for teams or posts.
- Masonry: eight skins with pieces of different heights fitted together.
The skin names are taken from places in Rome (Pantheon, Colosseo, Fontana di Trevi…), so they tell you nothing about the style: you'll need to look at them one by one in the demo to choose.
Features that change your day-to-day work
Besides the skins, the plugin includes:
- A responsive layout.
- Custom Post Type support, so the grid can show your own content types and not just posts.

One limit to keep in mind: it is a content presentation plugin. It is not a full page builder and it does not manage projects, clients or contact forms on its own. If you want category filters or a specific lightbox, check in the demo that the chosen skin does it before planning your design.

Choose the skin with the demo in front of you, not by its name
With more than 30 skins, the usual mistake is picking the first one you like and later finding out it doesn't suit your images. Before configuring anything, have your real content at hand: the format of your images, how many items you have and whether you need a preview.
Then open the demo of each family, compare two or three skins with your case in mind and settle on one. Once the grid is created, adjust colors and typography so it doesn't look like a generic template.
