About Front Multipurpose Business Theme
The demo you choose also decides which plugins you will maintain
You open a multipurpose theme and compare home pages as if they were only designs. A real estate one, an app one, a job board one. But each demo brings a different way of working behind it. With Front this is easy to see: the job board rests on WP Job Manager, the help center on weDocs, the shop on WooCommerce, and pages like Candidates come from a premium bundle that does not ship with the theme.
So the useful question is not which home page looks best. It is which plugins you accept maintaining for years as a result of choosing it. Two demos that look alike on screen can mean very different projects underneath, and it pays to know that before importing anything.
Front is a multipurpose business theme built on the WordPress block editor, with no page builder.
Blocks instead of a builder
- More than 150 Gutenberg blocks, with their own documentation separate from the theme's.
- More than 30 hero layouts, more than 90 header and navigation layouts, and more than 10 footer layouts.
- Demos for corporates, creative agencies, products, apps, real estate, job boards, help desks and cryptocurrency.
- Mega menu and pricing tables.
- Parallax, sliders and modal windows.
- Countdowns, animated text and masonry grids.
- Background video from YouTube, Vimeo or HTML5.
What each type of project pulls along
Job board. It works with WP Job Manager, with blocks and features added for that use. Pages of the Candidates kind depend on Core Add-On, a premium bundle of WP Job Manager add-ons not included with the theme. If your project needs candidates, count it as a separate piece.
Help center. It relies on weDocs for the knowledge base, and the demo import includes sample content.
Shop. Front is compatible with WooCommerce, so selling is possible. It is not a shop-centered theme: selling is one of its many uses.
What not to count on
Elementor or another visual builder. The theme revolves around Gutenberg. If your team works with a builder, you will not reuse that way of working here.
Every demo complete out of the box. Pages that depend on Core Add-On need that bundle, which comes separately.
Guaranteed speed. Front avoids page builders to gain speed, but loading in under 700 milliseconds is tied to adding optimization plugins like WP Rocket. Measure it on your site, with your images and plugins already installed.
WordPress, WooCommerce and the import order
It is compatible with WordPress 7.0.x and 6.9.x and with WooCommerce 10.x.x and 9.x.x, and its base is Bootstrap 4. To start without regretting the demo:
- Decide what kind of project you will build and write down the plugins it needs.
- Confirm you have those plugins, including Core Add-On if you will use candidate pages.
- Import the demo with all images or with placeholders. Placeholders work well if you will use your own photos.
- Measure speed before adding anything else, and again when you finish.
Different routes within the catalog
If your project is in recruitment and you prefer Elementor, Hiring Hub is designed for staffing agencies, with five home pages and a simple job board. WP Job Manager works with any theme through shortcodes, if you already have a theme and only lack the listings.
For the help center, BetterDocs Pro is another option in the catalog. If you want to stay in the block editor with more features, Spectra Pro adds Loop Builder, login, registration and dynamic content to Spectra Legacy. And WP Rocket handles caching.
Builders, jobs and speed in Front
Does it work without a page builder?
Yes, that is its approach: everything is built with Gutenberg blocks.
Does it include everything needed for the job board?
Not everything. Pages like Candidates depend on Core Add-On, which does not come with the theme.
Can I sell with it?
Yes, it is compatible with WooCommerce.
Does it work for a knowledge base?
Yes, with weDocs, and it has a help desk demo.
Do I have to import all the demo images?
No. You can import with placeholders instead of images.
Will it load in under 700 ms?
That is the target with optimization plugins like WP Rocket. Check it on your site with your real content.
