About Galepro WordPress Theme
An image gallery lives or dies on whether the page loads before the visitor leaves
Galepro is a theme for personal blog, gallery or wallpaper sites, with a simple design and plenty of ad spaces.
The idea behind it all: in this business presentation matters less than speed and than having every ad slot where the eye already goes.

First, the width and the header
You choose between a 1000 px layout with a 300 px sidebar (designed for ad blocks of that size) and a narrower 728 px one. The header comes in three variants: logo with search form, logo with a 728 px banner, or logo only. The colours of the header, content and footer are changed from the customizer, and there are more than 600 Google Fonts with adjustable size.
Then, uploading the images
You attach the images to each post and the theme shows them as a grid, as it does on the attachment page. In the settings you can enable an image download button. It also generates an automatic description at the start and end of the text, useful when a gallery has little written text. There are three blog layouts, including one with a small thumbnail for simple listings.
Next, the ads
It includes more than nine ad positions: floating on the left and right, bottom, and in the middle of the paragraph. The top navigation, the banner and the sidebar can stay fixed while scrolling. Note: these are spaces, not ads. You add the code yourself from your ad network, and the theme does not guarantee clicks. If you fill a gallery with blocks, visitors will leave sooner, so it is best to start with a few positions and measure.
Finally, so Google understands it and you can measure it
- schema.org markup and an orderly h1, h2 and h3 hierarchy.

- Related posts: you choose how many, whether they come from tag or category, and whether they show as a grid or a list.
- Fields for your Facebook Pixel ID and Google Analytics code.
- Social sharing buttons without JavaScript.
For AMP, Galepro is compatible with the official AMP plugin, which you install separately. Without that plugin there is no AMP version.
No jQuery and no icon fonts
Icons are SVG and the theme does not load jQuery, which makes every page lighter. It includes two navigation menus with a simple megamenu, both adapted to mobile, and you can import the demo content with one click to start from a site that is already built.
Questions from people coming from another gallery theme
Does it work for an online store? It is not designed for that: it is a theme for blogs, galleries and wallpapers.
Can I set it up without touching code? Colours, fonts and layouts are adjusted from the customizer.
Do I need my own hosting? Yes, you need WordPress installed on your own domain and server.
Does AMP work on its own? No, the official AMP plugin is required.
What should I check in the demo? Look at how the grid of attached images appears and where the ads land on the page, before deciding.
