About Gingo – Cigars and Tobacco WordPress Theme

If you sell cigars, humidors and accessories and want a catalogue that browses like a tobacconist's

Building a tobacco shop with a generic theme often ends in a flat menu where customers can't find their brand, the humidor that fits their collection, or what they need to keep their cigars in good shape. Gingo is made for exactly that kind of shop: cigars, pipe or tube tobacco, humidors and smoker's accessories.

It suits you if your business is an online store with a cart, with products grouped by brand and by accessory type. It is not for anyone looking for a corporate or content-led theme: the demo is a shop and everything revolves around the product. Nor is it an age verification or legal compliance solution (details below).

Gingo organises the menu the way cigar lovers think

Cigar buyers tend to be loyal to a brand, and accessory buyers follow a logical ladder. The Gingo demo reflects both in its menu:

  • Cigars by brand: Camacho, Cohiba, Fuente, Hemingway, Diplomaticos, Gurkha, Joya de Nicaragua, La Aurora and others.
  • Humidors by capacity: small (10-15 cigars), medium (20-30) and large (from 50), alongside hygrometers, humidifiers and humidor fluid.
  • Accessories: lighters, ashtrays, cases, scissors, guillotines and piercers.

The useful truth for your business: someone buying a humidor almost always needs a hygrometer and a humidifier too. Having those categories side by side in the menu helps customers see them without searching. Cross-selling is something you have to build with your own products, though: the theme only gives you the space.

A homepage with three doors: tobacco, cigars and accessories

The homepage opens with a slider of sales messages with a buy button, then continues with three blocks leading to Tobacco, Cigars and Accessories. Below them you'll find the week's bestsellers in tabs (all, tobacco, cigars), new items, a 20% cigar discount banner and the latest blog posts.

The demo's product cards use two buttons: Add to cart for simple products and Select options for those with variations (for example, formats or flavours of tube tobacco). Discounted products also carry a sale label.

18+ notice and cookies: what Gingo shows and what it doesn't solve

The demo includes an entry notice for people over 18, a cookie message and a footer text aimed at adult tobacco consumers. It is an informational window where the visitor declares their age, not a system that checks it. Tobacco sales and advertising are heavily regulated and vary by country: check what your market requires before going live, because the theme doesn't guarantee any compliance.

Don't expect bookings, cigar subscriptions or a members' club either: what you see is a shop with a catalogue, blog, FAQ page, contact page and a signup form for receiving offers.

Questions before choosing Gingo

Can I remove the 20% discount or the homepage blocks?

They are part of the demo's design and you can replace them with your own offers and content. Check in the demo how they behave before deciding.

Does it come with real sample content?

The cigars, brands and texts in the demo are sample material. You'll need to load your own products, photos and descriptions, and review the homepage sales copy before publishing.

Is it suitable if I sell in a country with restrictions?

It depends on your local rules. Gingo provides the shop design; sales conditions, shipping and advertising are your responsibility.
