About GravityMigrate
Move Gravity Forms without rebuilding anything by hand
Switching servers, launching a new site, or consolidating several projects into one usually means rebuilding forms, losing entries, or exporting and importing files one by one. GravityMigrate solves this by packaging an entire site's Gravity Forms setup (forms, entries, uploaded files, Views, feeds from other add-ons, Gravity Flow workflows and general settings) into a single migration file that's imported into the destination site in just a couple of clicks.
What's included in each migration
- Complete forms and entries, including the files users have uploaded through them.
- Views built with GravityView, so front-end views keep working after the move.
- Add-on feeds and Gravity Flow workflows associated with each form.
- General Gravity Forms settings for the site.
Migrations are processed in the background, so there's no need to keep the browser tab open while they finish. You can also choose exactly which forms and which types of data to move, instead of being forced into a full-site migration. On import, GravityMigrate always adds new copies: it never overwrites forms that already exist on the destination site.
Importing and exporting between Gravity Forms and other plugins
GravityMigrate also works as a bridge between Gravity Forms and other popular form plugins, such as WPForms, Ninja Forms, Formidable Forms, Fluent Forms, Contact Form 7, Forminator and WS Form. This is handy when an agency inherits a site built with a different plugin and wants to move it over to Gravity Forms, or vice versa.
This kind of cross-plugin migration only moves the forms themselves (fields, conditional logic, notifications and confirmations, when the destination plugin supports them). Entries already collected stay in the original plugin, since each system stores data in its own way. Both plugins need to be active on the same site during the process.
Preview before you migrate
Not every form plugin supports the same features: Contact Form 7, for example, has no conditional logic. Before running anything, GravityMigrate shows what each form keeps, what changes, and what can't be represented in the destination plugin. This lets you compare the before and after field by field, and deselect any form you'd rather rebuild manually instead of migrating it automatically.
Who it's for
It's especially useful for web agencies managing multiple clients who need to clone or move Gravity Forms sites, for anyone migrating hosting or domains without losing their entry history, and for teams switching form plugins without losing the work already put into field configuration and logic.

Frequently asked questions
Which plugins can it import forms from?
It supports forms coming from WPForms, Ninja Forms, Formidable Forms, Fluent Forms, Contact Form 7, Forminator and WS Form, as well as exporting Gravity Forms forms to those same plugins.
Does it also move entries when switching plugins?
Not for cross-plugin migrations between different plugins: only the form structure is moved. Entries stay in the plugin that originally collected them. When migrating between two Gravity Forms sites, however, complete entries are included.
Do I need to have Gravity Forms installed?
Yes, GravityMigrate works as an add-on to Gravity Forms and needs it active on the site to manage forms and entries.
Does importing overwrite existing forms?
No. Every import creates new copies of the forms; any forms already on the destination site are left unchanged and aren't lost.
Does it work on a WordPress multisite install?
Yes, it's compatible with multisite setups, making it easier to move data between different sites within the same network.
