A garage fills or empties depending on what the customer sees before calling
Someone with a car that won't start or a warning light on doesn't compare calmly: they open three websites, look for a phone number and go with the one that seems most serious and easiest to use. Many garages lose that call because of an outdated website, no clear way to book, or a layout that breaks on mobile. iRepair is a theme designed for car repair businesses, and also for anyone selling auto parts.
Elementor, Slider Revolution and WooCommerce as the base of iRepair
The theme relies on three well-known tools:
- Elementor: it is the only builder the theme works with.
- Slider Revolution: one of the plugins the theme uses.
- WooCommerce: one of the plugins the theme uses, needed if your business also has a shop.
Booking a specialist and calculating payment installments
Version 2.0 adds the option to book a specialist, which is what a garage needs most: letting customers request an appointment without calling during working hours, when the mechanic is busy and can't pick up the phone.
It also lets you create custom calculators, for example to estimate a loan or an installment plan when selling goods. This is handy if you sell expensive parts or services, such as an engine repair or a set of tires, and want customers to see the monthly cost before deciding.
That said, you will have to set up each booking and each calculator so that they reflect your real rates. The theme provides the tool, not your garage's prices or timings.
Deciding if iRepair suits you: Elementor required and other questions
The most important condition: iRepair is not compatible with content built with WPBakery Page Builder. If your current site is built with WPBakery, you will have to rebuild the pages in Elementor.
Can it be used for something other than a car garage?
It is designed for car repair and parts sales. For other sectors you would have to change a lot of content and styling, so the sensible choice is a theme made for your field.
Can I sell parts online?
Yes, thanks to WooCommerce, which is one of the plugins the theme works with.
Is it hard to customize?
It is meant to be changed easily with Elementor. Even so, adapting bookings and calculators to your business takes time.
Can I use it with WPBakery?
No. It only works with Elementor.
What should I do before deciding?
Open the demo on your phone and check how the specialist booking and the calculators look, because that is where the customer decides whether to call you.
