About Konstruc - Construction & Industry WordPress Theme
People hiring a contractor look at finished jobs, not promises
Someone who needs a renovation, a new roof or electrical work rarely reads calmly: they open several websites on their phone, look for photos of jobs similar to theirs and go with the company that makes it easiest to ask for a quote. Many sites in this sector fail right there: photos buried, the phone number lost in the footer and a design made only for large screens.
Konstruc is a theme for contractors, renovation, architecture, electrical work, plumbing, roofing and carpentry workshops. It is built with Elementor and has a responsive, retina ready design.
How you would build your site with Konstruc, step by step
Imagine a renovation company starting from scratch. This would be the path.
1. Import a demo
The theme lets you import the demo content with one click and comes with documentation and video guides. That spares you the blank page: you start from pages that are already laid out and replace the texts and photos. The demo is only a starting point, and its sample images are not suitable for publishing.
2. Adjust the brand
The theme options, with a real-time preview, let you change colors and fonts so the site looks like your company. Each page or post also has its own options, which override the global ones: useful for a service page that needs a different look.
3. Header, menu and footer
There is a header and footer builder, and a mega menu edited with Elementor, with columns, images and icons. The menu can stay fixed while scrolling down, so your phone number or quote button is always within reach. If your business fits on a single page, there is also one page navigation with smooth scrolling.
4. Show your work
Here come more than 50 custom Konstruc widgets, carousel elements, parallax and video backgrounds in sections, headers and sliders. Slider Revolution is included for an animated home page with your best projects. Be careful: video backgrounds and animations are heavy, so try it on a phone before filling the home page with effects.
5. Collect requests
For quotes, the theme is compatible with Contact Form 7, and you build the forms yourself with that plugin. You can also connect the newsletter signup to your Mailchimp list and show your location with Google Maps. If you need something more specific, such as a quote calculator or appointment booking, check in the demo whether it exists; normally it will require a separate plugin.
Questions before choosing Konstruc
Do I need Elementor?
Yes, the theme is designed for building with Elementor: the pages, the mega menu and the custom widgets are all handled from that editor.
Can I give one page a different style from the rest?
Yes. The options of each page or post override the global ones in that case only.
Does it work for a one-page website?
Yes, it has one page navigation with smooth scrolling, although you can also build a multi-page site.
Will I lose my changes if I customize code?
It comes with a blank child theme. If you are going to edit code or add features, do it there and not in the main theme.
Materials shop and languages: Konstruc relies on WooCommerce and WPML
If besides offering services you want to sell tools, materials or spare parts, the theme is ready for WooCommerce, with several layouts for the shop page and for the product page, and support for different product types. Keep in mind that payments, shipping and taxes are handled by WooCommerce, not by the theme.
Languages work in a similar way: it is compatible with the WPML plugin, but that plugin is separate and translating the content is up to you. For a construction company presenting bids in several countries it can be worth it; for a local plumber, you probably don't need it.
