Each delivery service is a shipping method with its own table

One customer wants to pick the order up at a nearby point, another prefers it at home and a third finds a locker convenient. For your store they are three different shipments, with different rates and with labels that are not requested the same way.

At checkout, each Mondial Relay service is a WooCommerce shipping method with its own price table, and it is your contract that decides which ones you can label.

Mondial Relay – InPost Official manages the Mondial Relay – InPost delivery modes in WooCommerce: relay point, locker and home delivery. The customer picks the mode at checkout, and you print labels, create shipments and follow parcels without leaving the WordPress admin.

How a shipment is handled from WooCommerce

• Its own shipping method: added to a WooCommerce zone with a visible name, an optional logo, a description and free shipping above an amount.
• Rate by weight bands: the bands start at 0 to 30 kg, you can add or remove rows, and each band carries its price.
• Shipping from the order: a button creates the shipment with the point or address, the weight and the recipient's details.
• Labels and tracking: printed from the order, and the customer receives an email with the tracking link.
• Tracking: statuses refresh periodically, and the Suivi button on each order forces it.

A rate with packaging and a batch of labels

A cart weighs 0.950 kg and the packaging, 0.100 kg. The plugin prices the order as 1.050 kg and sends that same weight when creating the shipment, so price and declared weight come from the same calculation.

At the end of the day you open Création en masse, filter by status and delivery mode, correct the weight of the orders that need it and click Création des expéditions en masse. The shipment number appears in green and an error in red. Then you download all the labels in a single PDF, in A4, A5 or 10×15. Do not reload the page before downloading them, because they stop being accessible. It is only one way to use it; change it to suit your case.

What the contract requires and which rates fall outside

A professional contract with Mondial Relay – InPost is required, and the delivery mode you choose must be included in it. In France, secured home delivery has three options: no option, with signature or with PIN code, and it is only offered if your account is not a CC brand. If the contract does not include the chosen option, label creation fails.

The native rate depends on cart weight. If you need prices by category or by product size, a complementary rates plugin is needed. Flexible Shipping, Tree Table Rate and WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping are compatible, among others. Native WooCommerce local pickup does not fit, because it assumes the customer collects from a fixed place such as your store.

Setting up in five steps

Besides the contract, the server needs the PHP SOAP extension. To check it, open WooCommerce, Status, System and look for the SoapClient row.

1. Install and activate the plugin on a WordPress site with WooCommerce.
2. Get your Mondial Relay – InPost credentials for APIv1 and APIv2 and enter them in the settings tabs: Account, Configuration, Seller, Returns and Emails.
3. Check the connection to the web service.
4. In WooCommerce, Shipping, edit a zone and add the Mondial Relay – InPost Officiel method: choose the delivery mode and fill in the weight bands.
5. Enter all five codes of the two APIs to avoid error 95. Test mode uses the test parameters from your Connect space.

Rates and pickup with plugins from other vendors

For rates finer than weight, WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping is compatible, and there is also Flexible Shipping Pro. For customers to collect at your own store, there is WooCommerce Local Pickup Plus.
