About OceanWP Elementor Widgets

When every piece of the page comes from a different plugin

Building a page with Elementor usually ends the same way: one plugin for the tabs, another for the countdown, another for the map, each with its own styling, its own settings and its own scripts. The result is a site where the elements don't look alike and where every new design need sends you looking for yet another add-on.

OceanWP Elementor Widgets takes the opposite route: it gathers a wide collection of Elementor widgets in a single plugin, designed for sites that already run on the OceanWP theme. If you work with that theme, the advantage is having one source for most of your content blocks.

The widgets in OceanWP Elementor Widgets, grouped by the job they do

Instead of reciting the whole list, here is how they split up by the work they do:

  • Organizing content: accordions, tabs, table, timeline, divider with text or icon, info box and Flip Box.
  • Grabbing attention: banner, call to action, buttons and button effects, link effects, advanced and animated headings, countdown, circle progress and modal window.
  • Showing business and team: business hours, price list, recipe, team members, brands and image comparison.
  • Maps and social: Google Maps, hotspots over an image and Instagram feed.
  • User accounts: login, lost password and register widgets.
  • Navigation: navbar, off canvas panel, scroll up button and switch.
  • Forms and shop: widgets for Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, WPForms, Caldera Forms and Ninja Forms, plus WooCommerce products, categories and slider.

What to know before committing to it

It is an add-on, not a standalone tool: it needs the OceanWP theme active and Elementor enabled. The form widgets don't replace the matching form plugin, which you must have installed. The WooCommerce widgets don't create a store either: they display products and categories from one that already exists. The dynamic content options are available only if you use Elementor Pro. And check the demo to see how the Instagram feed and Google Maps look before depending on them for a key page.

Questions people ask before installing it

Does it work with a theme other than OceanWP?

No. The plugin requires the OceanWP theme to work, so it isn't an option if your site uses another one.

Do I need Elementor Pro?

Not to use the widgets, which are added to the free Elementor. Elementor Pro is only needed for the dynamic content option.

Is it suitable for a restaurant or local business site?

It fits well: it includes business hours, price list, recipe, map and team widgets, which are exactly what that kind of site usually asks for.

Can I build a contact form with this plugin alone?

No. You need to have the matching form plugin installed, such as Contact Form 7 or WPForms, with the form already created.

OceanWP and Elementor have to be active at the same time

Setup is short, but it follows a logical order: first the OceanWP theme active, then Elementor enabled, and finally this plugin. If either of the two is missing, the widgets have nowhere to appear.

Once you are in the editor, start with the two or three widgets your page really needs (for example business hours and a map) and check the result on mobile before adding more. That keeps the page light and consistent, which was the reason for gathering everything in a single plugin.
