Moderating that by hand is exhausting. PeepSo User Limits Addon gives you an entry filter: you decide what each member can do based on their role and how complete their profile is.

The addon limits access to specific community actions, such as posting or taking part, based on role and how complete the profile is:
- User role: each role has its own level of permissions.
- Complete profile: until members fill in what you require, certain actions stay blocked.
With this, a complete profile stops being a suggestion and becomes the gateway to participation. It is a quiet way to nudge newcomers to introduce themselves, without writing to them one by one.

- Another plugin: if access must depend on a payment, you also need a compatible membership plugin.
- By hand: deciding what profile percentage you require and which fields are mandatory, and explaining it to your members so they do not get frustrated.
- By hand: moderating the content that gets posted; this addon filters who can post, it does not review what they post.
How to set limits without scaring off newcomers
The risk with this addon is going too far. If you block too much at the start, the visitor who has just registered leaves before contributing anything. A reasonable approach is to let newcomers look around and react, and to require a complete profile only for the actions that generate the most noise. Adjust as you see how your community behaves and do not tighten the rules all at once.
