About Restrofood

Phone and WhatsApp orders that get lost between the stoves

A restaurant that sells for delivery often starts with orders by phone or message, and the problem shows up at peak time: nobody writes down the address properly, an extra is forgotten or the kitchen doesn't know what goes out first. Restrofood moves that flow to your WordPress site: the customer chooses, says whether they want delivery or pickup, and the order reaches whoever has to prepare it in an orderly way.

A kitchen doesn't work at the time the customer wants

Customers order when they feel like it, but your kitchen can only send out a limited number of dishes per time slot. Restrofood takes that into account with schedule settings that protect your team:

  • Delivery start and end times for each day of the week.
  • Delivery time slots with an order limit per slot.
  • Breaks during the day and several holidays.
  • Orders scheduled for another date (pre-order).
  • 24 h or AM/PM time format.

Where you deliver and how much you charge for it

Before paying, customers can check whether you reach their address. The checker works by address with the Google API or by ZIP code, and accepts several ZIP codes for delivery and pickup. You can charge shipping by radius or by ZIP code, set a minimum order amount and an amount above which shipping is free.

Extras and instructions

Each product supports extras, with the option to make them required and to set a minimum and maximum number of choices (for example, choosing exactly two sauces). There is also a product gallery, nutrition information and per-item instructions. An order bump lets you suggest an add-on during checkout.

Three panels for three different people

There is an administrator panel, another for the kitchen or branch manager and another for the delivery person. Orders update in real time, a sound alert (you can upload your own) plays when a new one comes in, and you can accept or decline it, even setting a custom delivery time. The delivery person receives an email with their assigned orders and sees the customer's address on a map. The customer receives emails at each status change, with editable templates for each status.

For the kitchen, the order is printed as an invoice in thermal or receipt format, with your logo and header and footer texts.

It runs on WooCommerce and is designed for a single location

Restrofood relies on WooCommerce, so you need it installed. It includes its own theme editable with Elementor and demo data that can be imported with one click, plus shortcodes with a generator to display the menu (columns, categories, sidebar and search bar). Here is what comes already solved and what is left to you:

  • Solved: menu, extras, schedules, delivery zones, panels, alerts and invoices.
  • Solved: checkout without registration, search and category filters without reloading the page.
  • On your own: a Google API key if you want to check addresses and distances.
  • On your own: the payment gateway, which depends on what you set up in WooCommerce.
  • On your own: photos, texts and prices for your menu.

It is a single-branch system: if you run several kitchens with different menus, check it in the demo first.
