About Service Finder Provider and Business Theme
After the first booking, the customer already has the phone number
Someone looks for an electrician on your portal, books, pays and is delighted. Later on they need another visit, and this time they do not open your site: the number is in their phone. The electrician prefers that direct deal, and you stop seeing the work your platform generated.
If you work out income by adding up booking commissions, the math fails because a portal charges for introducing two people, and people only get introduced once. What sustains the business is whatever makes staying inside worthwhile for both sides.
Service Finder, by Aone Team, is a WordPress theme for provider directories and job boards. It allows several income sources, and it pays to decide the mix before opening.
The income sources Service Finder allows
- Booking commission, fixed or as a percentage.
- Provider subscription through Paid Membership Pro, plus signup packages configured in the theme options.
- Paid job posting and sale of connects to providers who run out of theirs.
- Business claiming, free or paid on each listing.
A subscription charges even if the deal stays outside, which is why it balances a commission that depends on each booking.
The settings that keep the deal inside the portal
- Hide contact details: phone, address, email, website and GPS, one by one.
- Messaging between customers and providers, with notifications.
- Wallet with balances and payouts, and cash-back when paying with it.
- Ratings after a completed booking, alongside featured and verified providers.
None of them stops two people from calling each other. What they do is give reasons to come back through the platform, above all the reviews a provider accumulates.
What each profile does on the platform
- Customers: search by location and radius on Google Maps, filter by price and keyword, book time slots, request quotes with files and post jobs.
- Providers: manage services, availability, staff, bookings, invoices, articles and certifications, and apply for jobs.
- Candidates: have their own dashboard to apply to job listings.
- Admin: controls users, services, payments, commissions and email templates.
There is also AI search, Zoom meetings, one-way sending of bookings to Google Calendar and optional SMS or OTP verification.
Gateways, and the pieces that come separately
Money can move through PayPal, Stripe Connect and Custom Account, PayU Money, PayU Latam, WooCommerce and bank transfer. Check which option works in your country before choosing.
- Mangopay requires the WooCommerce Mangopay and WooCommerce Vendor plugins.
- Group booking of several providers from the cart: it is a separate add-on.
- Elementor works for standard pages; the theme's shortcodes are edited in its options.
Keys and plugins to get Service Finder running
The server needs the GD library, Apache mod_rewrite, at least 64 MB of memory and an upload limit of 10 MB or more. Maps require a Google Maps API key.
- Find the theme file inside the package, which also holds add-ons as separate files, and install it.
- Install the plugins the dashboard notice proposes. Paid Membership Pro, WP Social Login and WP Job Manager are optional.
- Import the demo with One Click Demo Import and add the Google Maps key.
- Define commissions, packages and which contact details are shown.
- Make a full booking with a customer account and a provider account, through to the final payment.
Listeo, Workreap and four answers about Service Finder
If the portal mixes lodging, appointments and events, Listeo offers bookings by day, by time slot and with QR tickets.
If you sell digital freelance work rather than home visits, Workreap revolves around projects, tasks and disputes.
Does it work as a job board?
Yes. It combines listings for candidates with jobs that providers bid on, and it works with the free WP Job Manager plugin.
Can I hide providers' phone numbers?
Yes, and also address, email, website and GPS, each one separately.
Can bookings be free?
Yes, they are set as free or paid, and guest booking can be turned on or off.
Does it sync with Google Calendar?
One way only: bookings made on the profile appear on the provider's calendar.
